21-ம் நூற்றாண்டில் ஆசியா எதிர்கொள்ளும் சவால்கள் குறித்த கேள்விக்கு பிரதமர் பதிலளித்தார். 21-ம் நூற்றாண்டு ஆசியாவுக்கானது என்று அடிக்கடி சுட்டிக்காட்டிய பிரதமர், நம்மீது நாம் நம்பிக்கை வைக்க வேண்டியது அவசியம் என்றும், இது நமது முறை என்பதை நாம் தெரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றும் கூறினார். இத்தருணத்தில் நாம் கிளர்ந்து எழுந்து தலைமைப் பொறுப்பை ஏற்க வேண்டும் என்று பிரதமர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
சீன அதிபர் ஸீ ஜின்பிங்கை சீனாவில் தாம் சந்தித்ததை பிரதமர் குறிப்பிட்டார். அப்போது தாம் ஒரு ஆவணத்தை சீன அதிபரிடம் வழங்கியதாகவும், அதில் கடந்த 2000 ஆண்டுகளில் ஒட்டுமொத்த வளர்ச்சி பற்றிய தகவல் காணப்பட்டதாகவும் பிரதமர் தெரிவித்தார். அதில்,1600 ஆண்டுகளில் இந்தியா, சீனாவின் ஒட்டுமொத்த வளர்ச்சி விகிதம் 50% அதிகரித்து இருந்தது அதில் தெரியவந்தது. மேலும், எந்தவித கருத்து வேறுபாடும் இன்றி இந்த சாதனை எட்டப்பட்டது. கருத்து மோதலின்றி, இணைப்பை ஊக்குவிப்பதில் நாம் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும் என்று பிரதமர் மோடி வலியுறுத்தினார்.
சிறந்த நிர்வாகத்தில் விண்வெளித் தொழில்நுட்பம் முக்கிய பங்கு வகிப்பதாக பிரதமர் தெரிவித்தார். சாதாரண மனிதனின் வாழ்க்கையை இது பெரிதும் மேம்படுத்த முடியும் என்று அவர் கூறினார். விண்வெளித் தொழில்நுட்பம். நமது கட்டமைப்பு மேம்பாடு குறித்த வரைப்படத்தை முறையாக உருவாக்குவதில் உதவுவதாகவும் அதனால் நமக்கு அதிகப் பள்ளிகள், சிறந்த சாலைகள், கூடுதல் மருத்துவமனைகள் அவசியம் என்றும் பிரதமர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
பாரம்பரியம் மற்றும் உலகமயமாக்கல் இடையிலான சமன்பாடு பற்றிய கேள்விக்கு, மனித குலம், வழுவாத நெறிமுறைகள், மனிதநேய மாண்புகள் ஆகியவற்றின் மூலமாகவும், புதிய கண்டுபிடிப்புகள் மூலமாகவும், பன்னெடுங்காலமாக முன்னேறி வந்துள்ளது என்று பிரதமர் பதிலளித்தார். மனிதர்களின் ஆக்க நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு தொழில்நுட்பம் பெரிதும் உதவுகின்றது என்று அவர் கூறினார். பல்வேறு சமூக ஊடகத்தளங்கள், லட்சக்கணக்கானோரின் குரலைப் பிரதிபலிப்பதாக அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
4-வது தொழில்புரட்சிக் காலத்தில் ஏற்றத் தாழ்வற்ற வளர்ச்சி உறுதி செய்யப்பட வேண்டும் என்று கூறிய பிரதமர், இடையூறுகளை அழிவாகக் கருதக் கூடாது என்று தெரிவித்தார். தொழில்நுட்பம் மக்களுக்கு அதிகாரம் வழங்குவதுடன் தொழில்நுட்பம் சார்ந்த சமுதாயம் தனது தடைகளை உடைக்கும் வல்லமைப் பெற்றது என்று அவர் கூறினார். தொழில்நுட்பம் மக்களுக்கு பயனளிக்கக் கூடியதாகவும், கட்டுப்படியான விதத்தில் கிடைப்பதாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று அவர் தெரிவித்தார். ஒரு காலத்தில் மக்கள் கணினிகளைக் கண்டு அஞ்சியதை நினைவு கூர்ந்த பிரதமர், தற்போது நமது வாழ்க்கையை மாற்றுவதற்கு அவை உதவுகின்றன என்று கூறினார்.
