பிரதமர் திரு. நரேந்திர மோடி அவர்கள் புது தில்லியில் அகில இந்திய ஆயுர்வேத மருத்துவ நிலையத்தை (All India Institute of Ayurveda) இன்று நாட்டுக்கு அர்ப்பணித்தார்.

நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய பிரதமர் தன்வந்த்ரி பிறந்த நாளை ஆயுர்வேத தினமாகக் கொண்டாடுவதற்காக அங்கு கூடியிருந்தவர்களைப் பாராட்டினார். அத்துடன், அகில இந்திய ஆயுர்வேத மருத்துவ நிலையத்தை அமைத்த மத்திய அரசின் ஆயுஷ் அமைச்சகத்தையும் அவர் புகழ்ந்தார்.

பிரதமர் பேசுகையில், தனது வரலாற்றையும், பாரம்பரியத்தையும் போற்றாத, மதிக்காத நாடுகள் முன்னேறுவதில்லை என்று உறுதிபடக் கூறினார். தனது வரலாற்றுப் பெருமைகளை மறந்த நாடுகள் தங்களது அடையாளத்தை இழந்துவிடுகின்றன என்றும் கூறினார்.

பிரதமர் பேசுகையில், “நாடு சுதந்திரம் பெறாத நிலையில் இருந்தபோது, நம் நாட்டின் அறிவுச் செல்வம், யோகா, ஆயுர்வேதம் போன்ற பாரம்பரிய முறைகள் சிறுமைப்படுத்தப்பட்டன. அவற்றின் மீது இந்தியர்களுக்கு இருந்த நம்பிக்கைகளையும் சிதைக்க முயற்சி எடுக்கப்பட்டது” என்று கூறினார். “கடந்த மூன்று ஆண்டுகளாக இந்த நிலை குறிப்பிட்ட அளவு மாறிவிட்டது. இழந்த நமது சிறப்பான பாரம்பரியத்தின் மீது மக்களுக்கு மீண்டும் நம்பிக்கை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆயுர்வேத தினம் அல்லது யோகா தினத்தில் இங்கு கூடியிருப்பதே நமது பாரம்பரியத்தின் பெருமையைப் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது“ என்றும் பிரதமர் கூறினார்.

பிரதமர் மேலும் பேசுகையில் ஆயுர்வேதம் என்பதும் வெறும் மருத்துவ முறை மட்டுமல்ல. பொது சுகாதாரம், சுற்றுச்சூழல் சுகாதாரம் ஆகியவற்றையும் உள்ளடக்கியது. அதனால்தான் அரசு ஆயுர்வதேம், யோகா, ஆயுஷ் (AYUSH) உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு இந்திய மருத்துவமுறைகளை பொது சுகாதார முறையுடன் இணைத்திருக்கிறது என்றார்.

நாட்டின் ஒவ்வொரு மாவட்டத்திலும் ஓர் ஆயுர்வேத மருத்துவமனையை நிறுவுவதற்கான செயலில் அரசு ஈடுபட்டுள்ளது என்று பிரதமர் தெரிவித்தார். கடந்த மூன்று ஆண்டுகளில் 65 ஆயுஷ் மருத்துவமனைகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன என்றும் அவர் கூறினார்.

பிரதமர், “மூலிகைகள், மருத்துவச் செடிகள் நமக்கு உலக அளவில் குறிப்பிடத் தக்க வருவாயை ஈட்டித் தரும். இந்த விஷயத்தில் இந்தியா தனது திறனைச் சாதகமாகப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். சுகாதார நலத் திட்டங்களில் 100 சதவீத அந்நிய முதலீட்டுக்கு இந்திய அரசு அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளது” என்றார்.

“ஏழைகளுக்கு சுகாதார வசதிகள் எளிதில் கிடைக்க வே|ண்டும் என்பதைக் கருத்தாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. மக்களுக்கு வருமுன் காக்கும் சுகாதார நலம், குறைந்த கட்டணத்தில் மருத்துவ வசதிகள், சிகிச்சைகளை எளிதில் பெறுவது ஆகியவற்றில் அரசு கவனம் செலுத்தி வருகிறது. வருமுன் காக்கும் சுகாதார நலத்திற்கு தூய்மைப் பணி இயக்கம் (Swachhata) ஓர் எளிய உதாரணமாகும். மத்திய அரசு கடந்த மூன்று ஆண்டுகளில் 5 கோடி கழிவறைகளைக் கட்டியிருக்கிறது” என்றும் பிரதமர் கூறினார்.

பிரதமர் மேலும் கூறுகையில், “புதிதாக அமைக்கப்பட்டு வரும் அகில இந்திய மருத்துவ அறிவியல் நிறுவனங்கள் (AIIMs) மக்கள் சிறந்த மருத்துவ நலன்களைப் பெறுவதற்கு உதவும்” என்றார்.

உடலுக்குள் பொருத்தப்படும் ஸ்டென்ட் உள்ளிட்டவற்றின் விலையைக் கட்டுப்படுத்துவதற்கும், விலை குறைந்த மருந்துகளை மக்கள் பெறுவதற்காக மக்கள் மருந்தக மையங்கள் (Jan Aushadhi Kendras) அமைப்பதற்கும் நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன என்றும் பிரதமர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
