His passion for public service, commitment to empowering the poor and dedication to social upliftment continue to inspire us greatly, Shri Modi further added.

Prime Minister Condoles the Demise of Shri Imkong L. Imchen

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed deep sorrow at the passing away of Shri Imkong L. Imchen, a senior leader from Nagaland.

In his message, the Prime Minister said that Shri Imchen will be remembered for his outstanding contribution to Nagaland’s development. He was active in public life for several years and remained deeply committed to the welfare of tribal communities. His legislative and ministerial tenures will be fondly remembered for their impact and dedication.

In a post on X, Shri Modi said:
