Prime Minister greets devotees on the conclusion of Chhath Mahaparv

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi extended his greetings and best wishes to all devotees on the conclusion of the Mahaparv Chhath.

The Prime Minister said that the grand four-day festival concluded today with the morning offering of arghya to Bhagwan Suryadev. He noted that during the festival, the divine splendour of India’s glorious Chhath Puja tradition was witnessed.

The Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes to all devotees and families who took part in the festival and prayed that Chhathi Maiya’s blessings keep everyone’s lives filled with light and happiness.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“भगवान सूर्यदेव को प्रात:कालीन अर्घ्य के साथ आज महापर्व छठ का शुभ समापन हुआ। चार दिवसीय इस अनुष्ठान के दौरान छठ पूजा की हमारी भव्य परंपरा के दिव्य दर्शन हुए। समस्त व्रतियों और श्रद्धालुओं सहित पावन पर्व का हिस्सा बने अपने सभी परिवारजनों का हृदय से अभिनंदन! छठी मइया की असीम कृपा से आप सभी का जीवन सदैव आलोकित रहे।”

The Prime Minister spoke with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, to exchange festive greetings and review regional security developments.

The Prime Minister spoke with HH Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, and conveyed greetings on the upcoming festival of Eid. During the conversation, Shri Modi and the Crown Prince exchanged views on the evolving situation in West Asia and shared concerns over recent developments. The Prime Minister reiterated India’s condemnation of attacks on Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing that ensuring safe and free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz remains the foremost priority. Both leaders agreed that sustained diplomatic engagement remains essential for regional peace and stability. The Prime Minister also thanked the Crown Prince for the continued support provided for the safety and wellbeing of the Indian community in Kuwait.
