On the Statehood Day of Manipur, Meghalaya & Tripura, PM Modi shares a Sanskrit verse highlighting continuous effort and progress
January 21, 2026

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today extended his warm greetings to the people of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura as the three North Eastern states celebrate their Statehood Day.

The Prime Minister conveyed his heartfelt wishes to all brothers and sisters of the region and expressed hope that, through their own efforts, they achieve success in every sphere of life.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister also shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the spirit of continuous effort and progress.

The Sanskrit verse-
conveys that one must keep moving and keep advancing, as only a consistently diligent person can taste the sweetness of progress, just as the sun tirelessly and endlessly illuminates the world with its energy.

Shri Modi posted on X;
