The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has remembered Arun Jaitley on his first Punya Tithi.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, "On this day, last year, we lost Shri Arun Jaitley Ji. I miss my friend a lot.

Arun Ji diligently served India. His wit, intellect, legal acumen and warm personality were legendary."

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising on the triumph of truth

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, paid homage to all the great personalities who participated in the Dandi March, which began on this very day in 1930.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising on the triumph of truth:

“सत्यमेव जयति नानृतं सत्येन पन्था विततो देवयानः।

येनाक्रमन्त्यृषयो ह्याप्तकामा यत्र तत्सत्यस्य परमं निधानम्॥”

The Subhashitam conveys that, truth always prevails and falsehood is ultimately destroyed. Therefore, one should follow the path on which the Sages attained bliss and realised the supreme truth.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“सन् 1930 में आज ही के दिन दांडी मार्च की शुरुआत हुई थी। इसमें शामिल सभी विभूतियों का श्रद्धापूर्वक स्मरण!

सत्यमेव जयति नानृतं सत्येन पन्था विततो देवयानः।
