ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ 26 ਫਰਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 10:30 ਵਜੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਮੰਡਪਮ, ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਟੇਕਸ 2024 ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਜੋ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਟੈਕਸਟਾਈਲ ਈਵੈਂਟਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ।

 

ਭਾਰਤ ਟੇਕਸ 2024 ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ 26-29 ਫਰਵਰੀ, 2024 ਤੱਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ 5ਐੱਫ ਵਿਜ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ, ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਫਾਈਬਰ, ਫੈਬਰਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਫੋਕਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਏਕੀਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਫਾਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਟੈਕਸਟਾਈਲ ਵੈਲਿਊ ਚੇਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਵਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਟੈਕਸਟਾਈਲ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਮੁਹਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਟੈਕਸਟਾਈਲ ਪਾਵਰ ਹਾਊਸ ਵਜੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

 

11 ਟੈਕਸਟਾਈਲ ਐਕਸਪੋਰਟ ਪ੍ਰਮੋਸ਼ਨ ਕੌਂਸਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਕੰਨਸੋਰਟੀਅਮ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ, ਭਾਰਤ ਟੇਕਸ 2024 ਨੂੰ ਵਪਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਦੋਹਰੇ ਥੰਮ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਰਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਈਵੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ 100 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਪੈਨਲਿਸਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ 65 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਨੌਲੇਜ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜੋ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕੂਲੈਰਿਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਪੈਵੇਲੀਅਨ, 'ਇੰਡੀ ਹਾਟ', ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੈਕਸਟਾਈਲ ਹੈਰੀਟੇਜ, ਸਸਟੇਨੇਬਿਲਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਜਿਹੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਇੰਟਰਐਕਟਿਵ ਫੈਬਰਿਕ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਪਾਦ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

 

ਭਾਰਤ ਟੇਕਸ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ 3,500 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ, 100 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ 3,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਖਰੀਦਦਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ 40,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਵਿਜ਼ਿਟਰਾਂ, ਨੀਤੀ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਸੀਈਓਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਟੈਕਸਟਾਈਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਬੁਣਕਰਾਂ, ਕਾਰੀਗਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਟੈਕਸਟਾਈਲ ਕਾਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ। ਈਵੈਂਟ ਦੌਰਾਨ 50 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਘੋਸ਼ਣਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝੌਤਿਆਂ (ਐੱਮਓਯੂਸ) 'ਤੇ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਦੀ ਕਲਪਨਾ ਟੈਕਸਟਾਈਲ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਯਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ 'ਆਤਮਨਿਰਭਰ ਭਾਰਤ' ਅਤੇ 'ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਭਾਰਤ' ਦੇ ਵਿਜ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕਦਮ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

Cabinet approves a Road Construction project in Uttar Pradesh worth Rs.7145.14 crore

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today has approved the construction of 117.7 km Kanpur–Kabrai Access-Controlled Greenfield Highway, a four-lane access-controlled corridor with structures designed for future six-laning, forming a key segment of the Bhopal–Kanpur Economic Corridor under the National Highways (O) Programme. With an estimated total capital cost of Rs.7145.14 crore, the project will be implemented by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on BOT (Toll) mode, together with the operation and maintenance of the existing Kanpur-Kabrai section of NH-34.

The project will provide seamless, high-speed connectivity between Kanpur and Kabrai, while strengthening onward connectivity to Sagar, Bhopal and other parts of Madhya Pradesh, thereby creating a modern access controlled economic corridor linking the industrial and commercial centres of Uttar Pradesh with mineral-rich, manufacturing and agricultural regions of Madhya Pradesh thereby improving.

Designed for operating speeds of 80–100 kmph, the corridor will reduce travel time between Kanpur and Kabrai from 3.5 hours to 1.5 hours (58%), while improving road safety, reducing vehicle operating costs and facilitating efficient movement of passenger and freight traffic. The project will also provide strategic connectivity with NH-34, NH-35, the Bundelkhand Expressway, Kanpur Ring Road, and State Highways SH-46, SH-91, SH-10B and SH-42, thereby strengthening integration with the regional highway network. The corridor further strengthen connectivity to the Kabrai mining belt, improving the movement of minerals, industrial goods, construction materials and agricultural produce, thereby enhancing logistics efficiency, supply chain resilience and regional economic development.

Aligned with the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, the project will improve connectivity to 16 Economic Nodes, including the Unnao, Banther, Pankhi, Rania, Jainpur, Rooma, Chakeri, Sumerpur and Bhuragarh Industrial Areas, Trans Ganga Integrated Township, Growth Centre Jaipur, Kanpur Nagar Node and Bengal Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It will also strengthen connectivity to 9 Social Nodes, namely Fatehpur, Mahoba, Kanpur Zoological Park, Buddha Park, J.K. Temple & Garden, Radha Krishna Temple, Siddheshwar Mahadev Temple, Gopeshwar Mandir and Mahoba Tourist Place, and 10 Logistics Nodes, including Kanpur, Ghatampur, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Kabrai, Bharwa Sumerpur and Banda Railway Stations, together with Kanpur, Chakeri and Khajuraho Airports.

Overall, improve logistics competitiveness, industrial development and economic growth across Bundelkhand and adjoining regions of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, while advancing the objectives of PM GatiShakti.

The project is expected to generate approximately 11,188 direct and 13,985 indirect person-days of employment per lane per km during construction and is projected to carry an Annual Average Daily Traffic (AADT) of about 18,069 Passenger Car Units (PCUs) by FY 2028, underscoring its long-term economic, logistics and transport significance. The proposed project will thus generate close to 1.2 Crore person-days of direct employment and indirect employment.
