ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੀਰ ਸਟਾਰਮਰ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਯਾਤਰਾ ’ਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਪ੍ਰਾਈਮ ਮਿਨਿਸਟਰ ਸਟਾਰਮਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ, ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ UK ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਜੁਲਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੀ UK ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) ’ਤੇ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਬਣਾਈ। ਇਸ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਨਾਲ- ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੰਪੋਰਟ cost ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮੀ ਆਵੇਗੀ, ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਮੌਕੇ ਬਣਨਗੇ, ਵਪਾਰ ਵਧੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਸਾਡੇ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।

 

ਐਗਰੀਮੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਹੀ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਇਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੌਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਇਆ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ business ਵਫ਼ਦ, ਭਾਰਤ-UK ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਨਵੀਂ ਊਰਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੈ।

ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਭਾਰਤ-ਯੂਕੇ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ business leaders ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਮਿਟ ਹੋਈ। ਅੱਜ ਅਸੀਂ India-UK CEO Forum ਅਤੇ Global FinTech Festival ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰਤ-ਯੂਕੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਣਗੀਆਂ।

ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਕੇ natural ਪਾਰਟਨਰਸ ਹਨ। ਸਾਡੇ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਵਿੱਚ Democracy, freedom, ਅਤੇ rule of law ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ। ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਆਲਮੀ ਅਸਥਿਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਦੌਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਕੇ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਵਧਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ global stability ਅਤੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਅਧਾਰ ਬਣੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੰਡੋ-ਪੈਸਿਫਿਕ, West-Asia ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਿਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਕ੍ਰੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ’ਤੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਯੂਕ੍ਰੇਨ ਕੰਫਲਿਕਟ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ’ਤੇ, ਭਾਰਤ ਡਾਇਲਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਪਲੋਮੇਸੀ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੀ ਬਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ Indo-Pacific ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ maritime security cooperation ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਬੱਧ ਹਾਂ।


ਮਿੱਤਰੋ,

ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ UK ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ technology partnership ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ। ਅਸੀਂ ਯੂਕੇ ਦੀ industrial expertise, R&D ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਟੇਲੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ scale ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨ ’ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।

 

ਪਿਛਲੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਭਾਰਤ-ਯੂਕੇ Technology Security Initiative ਲਾਂਚ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਅਸੀਂ critical and emerging technologies ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਖੋਜ ਅਤੇ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਮੰਚ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਯੁਵਾ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ, ‘ਕਨੈਕਟੀਵਿਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੈਂਟਰ’, ‘ਸੰਯੁਕਤ AI research ਸੈਂਟਰ’ ਜਿਹੇ ਕਈ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।
ਅਸੀਂ critical minerals ’ਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਇੰਡਸਟ੍ਰੀ ਗਿਲਡ ਅਤੇ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਚੇਨ Observatory ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸੈਟੇਲਾਈਟ ਕੈਂਪਸ ISM ਧਨਬਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

ਸਸਟੇਨੇਬਲ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਗੋਲਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ India–UK Offshore Wind Taskforce ਦੇ ਗਠਨ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।


ਅਸੀਂ Climate Technology Startup Fund ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ climate, technology ਅਤੇ AI ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਇਨੋਵੇਟਰਸ ਅਤੇ entrepreneurs ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।

 

ਮਿੱਤਰੋ,

ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੱਕ- ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਕੇ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਆਯਾਮ ਘੜ੍ਹੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਅੱਜ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸਟਾਰਮਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਖੇਤਰ ਦਾ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਵਫ਼ਦ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਯੂਕੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੌਂ universities ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ campuses ਖੋਲ੍ਹਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। Southampton University ਦੇ Gurugram campus ਦਾ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਦਾਖ਼ਲਾ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਗਿਫਟ ਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂਕੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਹੋਰ university ਦੇ campus ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਤਰੱਕੀ ’ਤੇ ਹੈ।

ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਵੀ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਡਿਫੈਂਸ co-production ਦੇ ਵੱਲ ਵਧ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਡਿਫੈਂਸ ਇੰਡਸਟ੍ਰੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਕਦਮ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਸੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਟਰੀ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ’ਤੇ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ Flying Instructors ਯੂਕੇ ਦੀ Royal Air Force ਵਿੱਚ trainers ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

 

ਇਹ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੰਜੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨੌ-ਸੈਨਿਕ ਜਹਾਜ਼ “ਕੋਂਕਣ 2025” ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਐਕਸਰਸਾਈਜ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਯੂਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸੇ 1.8 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਜੀਵੰਤ ਕੜੀ ਹਨ। ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਸਮਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਥਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋਸਤੀ, ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਪੁਲ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਮਿੱਤਰੋ,

ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ dynamism ਅਤੇ ਯੂਕੇ ਦੀ expertise ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ unique synergy ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੀ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ trustworthy ਹੈ, talent ਅਤੇ technology ਡ੍ਰਿਵਨ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸਟਾਰਮਰ ਮੰਚ ’ਤੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਕਮਿਟਮੈਂਟ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ, ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਉੱਜਵਲ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।

Prime Minister congratulates successful candidates of Civil Services Examination, 2025

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated all those who have successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination, 2025. He said that their dedication, perseverance and hard work have enabled them to achieve this significant milestone.

The Prime Minister noted that clearing the Civil Services Examination marks the beginning of an important journey of public service. He wished the successful candidates the very best as they embark on the path of serving the nation and fulfilling the aspirations of the people.

The Prime Minister also conveyed his message to those who may not have secured the desired outcome in the examination. He acknowledged that such moments can be difficult, but emphasised that this is only one step in a larger journey.

Highlighting that many opportunities lie ahead, both in future examinations and in the many avenues through in which individuals can contribute to the nation, the Prime Minister extended his best wishes to them for the road ahead.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“Congratulations to all those who have successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination, 2025. Their dedication, perseverance and hard work have led to this significant milestone.

Wishing them the very best as they embark on a journey of serving the nation and fulfilling the aspirations of the people.”
