PM Narendra Modi reached Iran today for a two-day official visit. Upon arrival, the PM tweeted, “Reached Iran, a land with whom India shares civilisational ties. Hope to enhance economic partnership between our nations. I also hope my Iran visit further cements cultural & people-to-people ties between India & Iran.”

Prime Minister condoles demise of Baba Adhav Ji

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, condoled the passing away of Baba Adhav Ji today.

The Prime Minister said Baba Adhav Ji will be remembered for his efforts to serve society through various causes, notably empowering the marginalised and furthering labour welfare.

In a post on X, Shri Modi wrote:

“Baba Adhav Ji will be remembered for his efforts to serve society through various causes, notably empowering the marginalised and furthering labour welfare. Pained by his passing away. My thoughts are with his family and admirers. Om Shanti.” 

“विविध सामाजिक कामांसाठी आयुष्य वाहून घेत समाजसेवा करणारे, विशेषतः वंचितांचे सबलीकरण आणि कामगार कल्याणासाठी लढणारे बाबा आढावजी, त्यांच्या या कार्यासाठी सदैव स्मरणात राहतील. त्यांच्या निधनाने अतिशय दुःख झाले आहे. त्यांचे कुटुंब आणि प्रशंसकांप्रति माझ्या संवेदना. ॐ शांती.”
