ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଆଜି ଅହମ୍ମଦାବାଦର ଯସପୁରଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱ ଉମୀୟଧାମ କମ୍ପ୍ଲେକ୍ସର ଆଧାରଶିଳା ରଖିଛନ୍ତି ।

ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଉତ୍ସାହୀ ଜନସମାରୋହକୁ ସମ୍ବୋଧିତ କରି, ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ଆମ ସମାଜକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବାରେ ମୁନି ଓ ଋଷିମାନଙ୍କ ଭୂମିକାକୁ କେହି କେବେହେଲେ ଭୁଲିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ । ସେମାନେ ଆମକୁ ମୂଲ୍ୟବାନ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ । ଅସତ୍ ଏବଂ ଅତ୍ୟାଚାର ବିରୋଧରେ ଲଢ଼ିବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନେ ଆମକୁ ବଳ ଯୋଗାଇଥିଲେ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ।

ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ଆମର ଋଷି ଓ ମୁନିମାନେ ଅତୀତରୁ ଭଲକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ସହିତ ଆଗକୁ ବଢ଼ିବା ଓ ସମୟ ସହିତ ବଦଳିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଇ ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି ।

ଜନ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଆଯାଇଥିବା ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପ ଅବଧି ଲାଗି କିଛି କରିବା କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଗ୍ରହଣୀୟ ନୁହେଁ । କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସବୁବେଳେ ବ୍ୟାପକ ଭାବେ ହୋଇଥାଏ, ଯାହା ସମାଜର ସବୁବର୍ଗକୁ ଲାଭାନ୍ୱିତ କରିଥାଏ ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ।

ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀସ୍ତରରେ ଯୁବ ପିଢ଼ିଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଉନ୍ନତମାନର ଶିକ୍ଷା ଉପରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରାଯିବା ଜରୁରୀ ।

ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଦୃଢ଼ ଭାବେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମା’ ଉମୀୟାଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିଥାନ୍ତି ସେମାନେ କେବେହେଲେ କନ୍ୟାଭ୍ରୂଣ ହତ୍ୟାକୁ ସମର୍ଥନ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ ।

ଲିଙ୍ଗ ଆଧାରିତ ଅସମାନତା ନଥିବା ଏକ ସମାଜ ଗଠନ ପାଇଁ ସହାୟତା କରିବା ଲାଗି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିଥିଲେ ।

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the values of compassion and contentment

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that compassion brings self-respect and contentment brings true happiness. He noted that this spirit further strengthens the bonds of cooperation and harmony in society.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“कारुण्येनात्मनो मानं तृष्णां च परितोषतः।

उत्थानेन जयेत्तन्द्रीं वितर्कं निश्चयाज्जयेत्॥”

The Subhashitam conveys that self-respect is achieved by showing kindness or compassion to others. Greed is overcome by being satisfied at one's fortune in life. One must conquer laziness, dubious reasoning and indecisiveness by exertion and entrepreneurship.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“करुणा से आत्म-सम्मान और संतोष से सच्ची खुशी मिलती है। इसी भाव से समाज में सहयोग और सद्भाव की डोर और सशक्त होती है।

कारुण्येनात्मनो मानं तृष्णां च परितोषतः।

उत्थानेन जयेत्तन्द्रीं वितर्कं निश्चयाज्जयेत्॥”
