ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଆଜି ପାଟନା ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଶତବାର୍ଷିକୀ ପାଳନ ସମାରୋହରେ ଉଦବୋଧନ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ସେ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ଐତିହାସିକ ପାଟନା ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ସମାରୋହ ଏବଂ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ଗହଣରେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ସେ ନିଜକୁ ଗୌରାବାନ୍ୱିତ ମନେ କରୁଛନ୍ତି । “ମୁଁ ବିହାରର ଏହି ମହାନ ଭୂମିକୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରୁଛି । ଏହି ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଅନେକ ବରପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦେଇଛି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି ଦେଶ ନିର୍ମାଣରେ ଅମୂଲ୍ୟ ଅବଦାନ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ।”
ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ସେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଏଭଳି ଉଚ୍ଚ ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ ସ୍ତରର ଅଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସଂସ୍ପର୍ଶରେ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି ପାଟନା ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ଅଧ୍ୟୟନ କରିଛନ୍ତି । “ଦିଲ୍ଲୀରେ ମୁଁ ଅନେକ ଉଚ୍ଚ ପଦସ୍ଥ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ସହ ମତ ବିନିମୟ କରିଛି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି ବିହାରର ମୂଳ ବାସିନ୍ଦା ।”
ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ବିହାରର ବିକାଶ ଓ ପ୍ରଗତି ଦିଗରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନିତୀଶ କୁମାରଙ୍କ ଅବଦାନ ଓ ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧତା ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ । ପୂର୍ବ ଭାରତର ବିକାଶ ପାଇଁ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ପ୍ରାଥମିକତା ଦେଉଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ।
ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ବିହାରକୁ 2ଟି ପ୍ରମୁଖ ବିଷୟ ବରଦାନ ଆକାରରେ ମିଳିଛି । ଗୋଟିଏ ହେଲା ‘ଜ୍ଞାନ’ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟଟି ‘ଗଙ୍ଗା’ । ବିହାର ଭୂମି ଏଭଳି ଅନନ୍ୟତାରେ ଭରପୂର ହୋଇ ରହିଛି । ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ଶିକ୍ଷାଦାନ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତେ ଆମର ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟମାନେ ସୃଜନଶୀଳ ଜ୍ଞାନର ଶିକ୍ଷା ଉପରେ ସେ ଜୋର ଦେବାକୁ ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ।
ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ବିଶ୍ୱିକରଣ ଯୁଗରେ ଆମେ ସମଗ୍ର ବିଶ୍ୱରେ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନର ଧାରାକୁ ହୃଦୟଙ୍ଗମ କରିବାକୁ ପଡିବ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତିନ୍ଦନ୍ଦ୍ୱିତାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଉତ୍ସାହ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆଗକୁ ବଢ଼ିବାକୁ ହେବ । ଏହି ପରିପ୍ରେକ୍ଷୀରେ ଭାରତକୁ ବିଶ୍ୱ ଦରବାରରେ ତାର ନିଜସ୍ୱ ଏକ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ପରିଚୟ ବାଛିବାକୁ ପଡିବ । ଆଜିର ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ସାଧାରଣ ଜନତା ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହେଉଥିବା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସମସ୍ୟାର ସୃଜନଶୀଳ ସମାଧାନ ଖୋଜିବା ଲାଗି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଆହ୍ୱାନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ । ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ଯାହା ଅଧ୍ୟୟନ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ତାକୁ ଦୈନନ୍ଦିନ ଜୀବନରେ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରିବାକୁ ପଡିବ । ଷ୍ଟାର୍ଟ-ଅପ୍ ସେକ୍ଟର ଜରିଆରେ ଯୁବଛାତ୍ରମାନେ ସମାଜ ପାଇଁ ଅନେକ କିଛି କରିପାରିବେ ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ।
ପାଟନା ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ସମାରୋହ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ସାରି ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦରକୁ ଫେରିବା ବାଟରେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ବିହାର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ଅତିଥିମାନେ ବିହାର ସଂଗ୍ରହାଳୟ ବୁଲି ଦେଖିଥିଲେ । ଏହି ସଂଗ୍ରହାଳୟରେ ରାଜ୍ୟର ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ସଂସ୍କୃତି, ଇତିହାସ, ପରମ୍ପରାର ଅନନ୍ୟ ବିଭବ ଶୋଭାଯାଉଛି ।
