PM reviews progress at the Dr. Sampurnanand Sports Stadium in Kashi

After the day’s programmes in Kashi, which included the programme to hand over Kisan Samman Nidhi, Ganga Aarti and prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, PM Modi undertook a surprise visit to review the work underway to build Dr. Sampurnanand Sports Stadium and sports complex in Varanasi.

The Prime Minister posted on X :

"Reviewed the progress at the Dr. Sampurnanand Sports Stadium in Kashi. This stadium and sports complex will greatly help the youth of Kashi."

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, paid tributes to freedom fighter, Shri Pingali Venkayya on his 150th birth anniversary.

The Prime Minister remembered Pingali Venkayya for his invaluable role in giving the nation the Tricolour and said that his efforts continue to inspire people to serve the country with dedication and patriotic fervour.

Shri Modi said that the Tiranga fills every Indian heart with immense pride and inspires the nation to work towards nation-building.
