आण्विक त्रयीच्या निर्मितीबद्दल पंतप्रधानांकडून आयएनएस अरिहंतच्या नौदल कर्मचाऱ्यांचे अभिनंदन

धोरणात्मक आण्विक पाणबुडी ‘आयएनएस अरिहंत’च्या च्या पहिल्या यशस्वी टेहळणीवरून परतल्याबद्दल पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी या पाणबुडीवरील सर्वांचे अभिनंदन केले. याप्रसंगी पंतप्रधानांनी भारताला मोजक्या देशांच्या पंगतीत नेऊन बसवल्याबद्दल या पाणबुडीवरील नौदल अधिकाऱ्यांचे अभिनंदन केले. 

अरिहंतचे यशस्वी कार्यान्वयन हे भारताच्या तंत्रज्ञानात्मक ताकदीचे आणि लष्कराच्या विविध शाखांमधील उत्तम ताळमेळाचे उदाहरण आहे असे ते म्हणाले. भारताच्या शूर सैनिकांचे धैर्य आणि शास्त्रज्ञांचे ज्ञान आणि चिकाटी यामुळेच यशस्वी आण्विक प्रयोगांचे एका अत्यंत जटील आणि कार्यक्षम आण्विक त्रयीत रुपांतर झाले आहे, असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.

भारतीयांची एक नवा भारत आणि शक्तिमान भारत पाहण्याची इच्छा आहे त्यासाठी त्यांनी अथक प्रयत्न केले आहेत. एक सशक्त, भारत अब्जावधी भारतीयांच्या आकांक्षा पूर्ण करेल आणि जागतिक शांतता आणि स्थैर्याचा पाया मजबूत असेल. या मोहिमेत सहभागी अधिकारी आणि त्यांच्या कुटुंबियांना पंतप्रधानांनी दीपावलीच्या प्रकाशपर्वाबद्दल शुभेच्छा दिल्या आहेत. ‘‘जसे प्रकाश अंधार दूर करतो तसेच ‘आयएनएस अरिहंत’ निर्भयतेचा मापदंड बनेल’’ अशा शब्दांत पंतप्रधानांनी शुभेच्छा दिल्या.

एका जबाबदार आण्विक ताकदीप्रमाणे भारताने आण्विक अधिकार आणि नियंत्रण ढाचा, सुरक्षा यंत्रणा आणि कठोर राजकीय नियंत्रण याबाबींची काळजी घेतली आहे. भारत वाजपेयींच्या नेतृत्वाखाली 2003 मध्ये ठरवलेल्या ‘प्रथम वापर न करण्याच्या’सिद्धांताशी बांधील आहे.
