पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी आज नवी दिल्लीत एनसीसी अर्थात राष्ट्रीय छात्र सेनेच्या मेळाव्याला संबोधित केले. येथे आलेल्या प्रत्येक एनसीसी छात्र आपापली ओळख आणि व्यक्तीत्व घेऊन आला. मात्र एक महिन्याच्या काळात त्यांचे आपसात मैत्रीचे बंध जुळले असतील आणि एकमेकांपासून बरंच काही शिकले असतील असे ते म्हणाले. एनसीसी शिबिर प्रत्येक युवकाला भारताच्या विविधतेने नटलेल्या संस्कृतीविषयी माहिती देते. देशासाठी विधायक कार्य करण्याची प्रत्येक युवकाला प्रेरणा देते असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.
राष्ट्रीय छात्रसेना ही समान अथवा समानतेविषयी नसून ती ऐक्याविषयी आहे. एनसीसीद्वारे आपण मिशन मोड अर्थात अभियान म्हणून कार्य हाती घेऊन त्याद्वारे इतरांनाही स्फूर्ती घेता यावी यादृष्टीनं त्या संघांना शिकवण दिली जाते.
एनसीसीनं दैदिप्यमान सात दशकं पूर्ण केली आहेत. आपण साध्य केलेली कामगिरी आपण साजरी करत आहोत त्याचवेळी येत्या काळात एनसीसीच्या अनुभव अधिक प्रभावी कसा करता येईल याविषयीही आपण विचार केला पाहिजे असं पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. एनसीसीच्या आगामी 75 व्या वर्षानिमित्त येत्या पाच वर्षासाठी सर्व संबंधितांनी कृती आराखड्याबाबत विचार करावा असं आवाहनही पंतप्रधानांनी केलं.
भारतीय युवक आता भ्रष्टाचाराला ठाम नकार देतो असं सांगून भ्रष्टाचार आणि काळ्या पैशाविरोधातला लढा सुरूच राहील. भारताच्या युवा पिढीच्या भविष्यासाठी हा लढा असल्याचं त्यांनी स्पष्ट केलं.
The Prime Minister appealed to the Cadets to promote digital transactions through the BHIM App, and to motivate others to join that platform. He said that this a step towards transparency and accountability. Once the youth of India decide something, everything is possible, he added.
The Prime Minister said that earlier, people believed that nothing happens to the rich and powerful. But, he added that things are different today. People who served as Chief Ministers are in jail for their corruption, he asserted.
Speaking on Aadhaar, he said it has added great strength to India's development. What would earlier get into wrong hands is now going to the intended beneficiaries, he added.
