पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी जम्मू काश्मीरच्या एक दिवसाच्या भेटीत प्रथम लेहला भेट दिली. 19 व्या कुशोक बकुळा रिंपोच जन्मशताब्दीच्या समारोप कार्यक्रमाला पंतप्रधान उपस्थित राहीले. झोजीला बोगद्याच्या कामाचा शुभारंभ करणाऱ्या फलकाचे अनावरणही पंतप्रधानांनी यावेळी केले.

14 किलोमीटर लांब झोजिला बोगदा भारतातील सर्वात लांब पल्ल्याचा रस्ते बोगदा आणि आशियातील सर्वात लांब दुहेरी बोगदा आहे. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली अर्थविषयक मंत्रिमंडळ समितीने यावर्षीच्या सुरुवातीलाच श्रीनगर-लेह मार्गावरील बालताल आणि मिनामार्ग दरम्यान बोगद्याच्या बांधकाम, परिचालन आणि देखभालीसाठी 6 हजार 800 कोटी रुपयांच्या एकूण खर्चाला मंजूरी दिली आहे. या बोगद्यामुळे झोजिला खिंड पार करण्यासाठी सध्या लागणारा साडेतीन तासांचा वेळ कमी होऊन केवळ 15 मिनिटात हे अंतर पार करता येईल. यामुळे या भागाचे आर्थिक आणि सामाजिक – सांस्कृतिक एकात्मिकरण व्हायला मदत होईल. याला धोरणात्मक महत्व देखील आहे.

19 व्या कुशोक बकुळा रिंपोच यांच्या समृद्ध योगदानाचे स्मरण पंतप्रधानांनी यावेळी उपस्थितांना संबोधित करतांना केले. दुसऱ्यांच्या सेवेकरता त्यांनी आयुष्य वेचले असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.

19 वे कुशोक बकुळा रिंपोच हे उत्तम राजनितीज्ञ होते असे ते म्हणाले.

जम्मू काश्मीरच्या तिनही भागांना आपण भेट देत असल्याबद्दल पंतप्रधानांनी आनंद व्यक्त केला.

जम्मू काश्मीरला 25,000 कोटी रुपयांचे विकास प्रकल्प मिळणार असल्याचे सांगून या प्रकल्पांमुळे इथल्या जनतेवर सकारात्मक परिणाम होईल असा विश्वास पंतप्रधानांनी व्यक्त केला.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today shared the thoughtful address delivered by President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, on the eve of 79th Independence Day. He said the address highlighted the collective progress of our nation and the opportunities ahead and the call to every citizen to contribute towards nation-building.

“स्वतंत्रता दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर माननीय राष्ट्रपति जी ने अपने संबोधन में बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण बातें कही हैं। इसमें उन्होंने सामूहिक प्रयासों से भारत की प्रगति और भविष्य के अवसरों पर विशेष रूप से प्रकाश डाला है। राष्ट्रपति जी ने हमें उन बलिदानों की याद दिलाई, जिनसे देश की आजादी का सपना साकार हुआ। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने देशवासियों से राष्ट्र-निर्माण में बढ़-चढ़कर भागीदारी का आग्रह भी किया है।
