पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी आज आसाममधल्या गोगामुख येथे आयएआरआय अर्थात भारतीय कृषी संशोधन संस्थेचे भूमीपूजन केले.

यावेळी मोठ्या प्रमाणात उपस्थित असलेल्या जनतेला संबोधित करताना पंतप्रधानांनी आसाम सरकार आणि मुख्यमंत्री सर्बानंद सोनोवाल यांनी राज्यात केलेल्या कार्याची प्रशंसा केली.

आयएआरआयच्या भूमीपूजनामध्ये या संपूर्ण भागाच्या भविष्यावर सकारात्मक परिणाम होण्याची क्षमता असल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. 21 व्या शतकाच्या आवश्यकतेनुसार कृषी क्षेत्राचा विकास होण्याची गरज पंतप्रधानांनी व्यक्त केली. बदलत्या तंत्रज्ञानाचा शेतकऱ्यांना फायदा झाला पाहिजे असेही ते म्हणाले.

या विभागाच्या विशिष्ट गरजा लक्षात घेऊन आधुनिक शेती आणि तंत्रज्ञानाच्या गरजेवर त्यांनी भर दिला.  

स्वातंत्र्याच्या 75 व्या वर्धापन वर्षात 2022 पर्यंत शेतकऱ्यांचे उत्पन्न दुप्पट करण्याचा मुद्दाही त्यांनी मांडला.  

गेल्या तीन वर्षात केंद्र सरकारने शेतकऱ्यांच्या कल्याणासाठी अनेक पावलं उचलल्याचं पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. यासंदर्भात त्यांनी मृदा आरोग्य पत्रिका, प्रधानमंत्री कृषी सिंचन योजना, प्रधानमंत्री पीक विमा योजनेचाही उल्लेख केला. देशभरात मोठ्या प्रमाणात उभारण्यात येत असलेल्या मृदा आरोग्य परीक्षण प्रयोगशाळा आणि प्रधानमंत्री पीक विमा योजना, शेतकऱ्यांमध्ये लोकप्रिय ठरत असल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. ईशान्येकडच्या प्रदेशात दळणवळण वाढवण्यासाठी रेल्वे, महामार्ग, हवाई मार्ग, जलमार्ग आणि आयवेज हे पाच पंचतत्व पंतप्रधानांनी विषद केली. 

या पंचतत्वाद्वारे ईशान्येकडच्या जनतेच्या कल्याणासाठी आपले सरकार कार्यरत असल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.

Prime Minister receives phone call from President Emmanuel Macron, discusses situation in West Asia and maritime security

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, received a phone call from the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.

During the conversation, the two leaders discussed the prevailing situation in West Asia. They agreed on the urgent need to restore safety and ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Both leaders reiterated their commitment to continue close cooperation in advancing peace and stability in the region and beyond.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“Received a phone call from my dear friend President Emmanuel Macron. We discussed the situation in West Asia and agreed on the need to urgently restore safety and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

We will continue our close cooperation to advance peace and stability in the region and beyond.
