पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या हस्ते आज नवी दिल्लीतल्या वेस्टर्न कोर्टच्या नव्या इमारतीचे उद्घाटन झाले. या इमारतीत खासदारांसाठी तात्पुरते निवासस्थान बनवण्यात आले आहे.
हा प्रकल्प निश्चित वेळेत पूर्ण केल्याबद्दल पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी लोकसभा सभापती सुमित्रा महाजन यांचे अभिनंदन केले. या कामावर बारीक लक्ष ठेवतांना महाजन यांनी खासदारांच्या सुखसुविधांचाच अधिक विचार केला, अशा शब्दांत त्यांनी महाजन यांचे कौतुक केले.
हा प्रकल्प वेळेत पूर्ण करण्यासाठी परिश्रम केलेल्या सर्वांचे पंतप्रधानांनी अभिनंदन केले.
नव्याने निवडून आलेल्या खासदारांना दिल्लीत हॉटेलमध्ये उतरावं लागते आणि अशा घटनांची प्रसारमाध्यमात ‘बातमी’ बनते. मात्र, अनेक जुने खासदार, त्यांच्या कालावधी संपल्यानंतरही सरकारी इमारतीत राहतात, याकडे कोणी लक्ष देत नाही, अशी खंत पंतप्रधानांनी व्यक्त केली.
केंद्र सरकार डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकरांच्या मार्गावर वाटचाल करत आहे, असे सांगत डॉ. आंबेडकरांच्या सर्व आदर्शांच्या केंद्रस्थानी सौहार्द आणि एकतेची भावना होती, असे मोदी म्हणाले. देशातील गरीबातल्या गरीब व्यक्तीची सेवा करणे हे सरकारचे ध्येय आहे, असे पंतप्रधानांनी सांगितले.
नवी दिल्लीतील 26 अलिपूर मार्गावरच्या निवासस्थानी डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे निधन झाले त्या जागेवर स्मृतीस्थळ बनवण्यात आले असून त्याचे उद्घाटन 13 एप्रिलला म्हणजे डॉ. आंबेडकरांच्या जयंतीच्या पूर्वसंध्येला होईल, अशी माहिती त्यांनी दिली. डॉ. आंबेडकरांच्या नावाखाली राजकारण करणाऱ्या लोकांवर पंतप्रधानांनी यावेळी टीका केली.
