पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी आज गुजरातमध्ये अंजार-मुंद्रा पाईपलाईन प्रकल्प, मुंद्रा एलएनजी टर्मिनल आणि पालनपूर-पाली-बाडमेर पाईपलाईन प्रकल्पाचे उद्‌घाटन केले.

यावेळी बोलताना कच्छच्या लोकांचा आपल्याप्रती असलेला स्नेह भारावून टाकणारा आहे असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. गेल्या वीस वर्षात कच्छ भागात झालेल्या विकासकामांविषयी त्यांनी समाधान व्यक्त केले.

एलएनजी टर्मिनलचे उद्‌घाटन हे आजच्या कार्यक्रमाचे विशेष आकर्षण आहे असे सांगत आपल्याला तीन एलएनजी टर्मिनल्सचे उद्‌घाटन करण्याची संधी मिळाली हे आपले भाग्य असल्याचे ते म्हणाले.

गुजरातला पहिले एलएनजी टर्मिनल मिळाले होते तेंव्हा अनेकांना आश्चर्य वाटले होते मात्र आज गुजरातमध्ये लवकरच लवकरच चौथे एलएनजी टर्मिनल बनवण्याची क्षमता आहे असे मोदी यांनी नमूद केले.

गुजरात देशातले एलएनजीचे केंद्र बनले आहे असे सांगत याचा प्रत्येक गुजराथी माणसाला अभिमान वाटायला हवा असे ते म्हणाले. देशाच्या विकासासाठी ऊर्जा क्षेत्र मजबूत असणे आवश्यक असून उर्जा क्षमता नसेल तर गरीबी निर्मूलन होणार नाही असे मोदी म्हणाले.

देशातल्या जनतेच्या आशा-आकांक्षा वाढत आहेत त्यांना पारंपारिक पायाभूत सुविधांसोबतच आय-वे गॅस वाहिनीचे जाळे, जलवाहिनीचे जाळे, ऑप्टिकल फायबर नेटवर्क अशा आधुनिक सुविधाही हव्या आहेत असे पंतप्रधानांनी सांगितले.

पर्यटन क्षेत्रात अनेक संधी असून जगभरातले पर्यटक भारतात येण्यास उत्सुक आहेत. कच्छमध्येही “श्वेत रण” हे संपूर्ण जगाचे आकर्षण केंद्र बनले आहे. नागरी हवाई वाहतूक विभागाने विमान वाहतूक स्वस्त करण्यासाठी आणि वाहतुकीचे जाळे विस्तारण्यासाठी केलेल्या प्रयत्नांची त्यांनी माहिती दिली.

देशभरातल्या सर्व गावांमध्ये वीज पोहोचवणे आणि प्रत्येक घरापर्यंत वीज पोहोचवणे या दोन्ही गोष्टींसाठी केलेल्या प्रयत्नांचीही त्यांनी माहिती दिली. सर्वसामान्य माणसाच्या जीवनमानाचा दर्जा वाढवण्याचा प्रयत्न सरकार करत आहे असे पंतप्रधानांनी सांगितले.

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the transformative power of education

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that education is not merely a means of livelihood but a powerful medium to make life better. He noted that it is a priceless asset through which the youth of the country are setting new milestones in every field and bringing glory to the nation.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“श्रियः प्रदुग्धे विपदो रुणद्धि
यशांसि सूते मलिनं प्रमार्ष्टि।

संस्कारशौचेन परं पुनीते
शुद्धा हि बुद्धिः किल कामधेनुः॥”

The Subhashitam conveys that An educated, refined and pure intellect removes difficulties and brings success, respect, peace and progress into a person’s life. Indeed, an enlightened mind is considered like Kamadhenu, capable of fulfilling all kinds of aspirations.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“शिक्षा केवल आजीविका का साधन नहीं, बल्कि जीवन को श्रेष्ठ बनाने का सशक्त माध्यम भी है। यह वो अनमोल पूंजी है, जिसके जरिए आज हमारी युवाशक्ति हर क्षेत्र में नए-नए कीर्तिमान बनाकर देश का नाम रोशन कर रही है।
