The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today emphasised that India stands committed to promote food security and eliminate poverty. He expressed confidence that India will build on its successes and harness our collective strength and resources to ensure brighter future for all.

Responding to a post on X by Ms. Gita Gopinath, Shri Modi wrote:

PM Modi shares Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising the importance of Farmers

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“सुवर्ण-रौप्य-माणिक्य-वसनैरपि पूरिताः।

तथापि प्रार्थयन्त्येव कृषकान् भक्ततृष्णया।।”

The Subhashitam conveys that even when possessing gold, silver, rubies, and fine clothes, people still have to depend on farmers for food.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“सुवर्ण-रौप्य-माणिक्य-वसनैरपि पूरिताः।
