On Tuesday 20th August 2013 Shri Narendra Modi celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan in Gandhinagar. Over 5,000 women from different parts of India and various countries of the world tied Rakhis to Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Modi expressed his gratitude to the women and said that their Kavach (cover) protects him from all challenges and inspires him to serve the poorest of the poor.
