South Asian leaders hailed successful launch of South Asia Satellite as India's commitment towards Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas. Here's what they said:

Ashraf Ghani, President of Afghanistan:

"Through this cooperation, we have to work for the poor and the deprived. Development must be citizen centric. Today's development is child centred and women centred, it makes governance accessible. This is an extremely important step to know nature and nature's patterns."

Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh:

"On today's auspicious occasion, I congratulate the Government of India (for the successful launch of South Asia Satellite). Betterment of our people can happen through fruitful engagement."

Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister of Bhutan:

"Launch of the South Asia satellite historic moment for the world, it ushers in a new era of regional cooperation. My heartfelt thanks to the visionary leader, PM Modi for dedicating it to the common progress of the South Asian region. Launch of this satellite, our satellite, augurs well for our region and for nations like Bhutan. This gift from India is an example of true friendship and cooperation. It will bring common progress of our region."

Abdulla Yameen, President of Maldives:

"It gives me immense pleasure to be a part of this occasion. On behalf of the Maldives my gratitude to PM Modi & India. This launch is an example of India's 'neighbour first policy'. We must work for common good, better economic opportunities... Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas."

Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Prime Minister of Nepal:

"We extend hearty congratulations to PM Modi and Government of India. This will enhance connectivity. This will be helpful to provide communication services in the mountain and hilly regions of Nepal."

Maithripala Sirisena, President of Sri Lanka:

"This initiative (South Asia Satellite) will provide assistance to many priority areas of the region. May this initiative support people in all regions, enhance economic conditions'  help eliminating poverty."

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi received an audience today with His Majesty, Jigme Singye Wangchuck, The Fourth King of Bhutan, in Thimphu.

Prime Minister conveyed felicitations on the occasion of the 70th birth anniversay of His Majesty, The Fourth King and the best wishes and prayers of the Government and people of India for His Majesty’s continued good health and well-being. Prime Minister thanked His Majesty The Fourth King for his leadership, counsel and guidance in further strengthening India-Bhutan friendship. Both leaders held discussions on bilateral ties and issues of mutual interest. In this context, they underlined the shared spiritual and cultural bonds that bring the people of the two countries closer.

Prime Minister joined His Majesty, the King of Bhutan, His Majesty, the Fourth King of Bhutan, and Prime Minister of Bhutan at the Kalachakra initiation ceremony at Changlimithang Stadium, as part of the ongoing Global Peace Prayer Festival in Thimphu. The prayers were presided over by His Holiness the Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot of Bhutan.
