Prime Minister congratulates Sakshi on winning Gold in Women’s 51 kg Boxing

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated Sakshi on winning the Gold medal in the Women’s 51 kg Boxing event at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow.

The Prime Minister lauded Sakshi for her commanding performance and decisive victory.

Shri Modi wished her continued success and expressed hope that she would scale even greater heights in the future.

In a post on X, Shri Modi said;

“A prestigious Gold for Sakshi in the Women’s 51 kg Boxing event! Congratulations to her on a commanding performance and a decisive victory. May she continue to scale greater heights!

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated Unnati Sharma on winning the Bronze medal in the Women’s 63 kg Judo category at the Commonwealth Games 2026.

The Prime Minister said that Unnati Sharma’s commitment and determination were clearly visible throughout the competition.

Shri Modi wished her continued success in all her future endeavours.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;
