പത്മശ്രീ പുരസ്കാര ജേതാവ് ശ്രീ നന്ദ പ്രസ്തിയുടെ നിര്യാണത്തിൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അനുശോചനം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി.
ഒരു ട്വീറ്റിൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു;
"ശ്രീ നന്ദ പ്രസ്റ്റി ജിയുടെ വിയോഗത്തിൽ വേദനിക്കുന്നു. ഒഡീഷയിൽ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിന്റെ ആനന്ദം പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശ്രമങ്ങൾ കാരണം ഏറെ ബഹുമാനിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന "നന്ദ സാർ" തലമുറകളോളം സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടും. ഏതാനും ആഴ്ചകൾക്ക് മുമ്പ് അദ്ദേഹം പുരസ്കാര ദാന ചടങ്ങിൽ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ശ്രദ്ധയും സ്നേഹവും ആകർഷിച്ചു. ഓം ശാന്തി."
