Mamata Banerjee has urged leaders of other parties for help and support as she is afraid of losing elections, claims PM Modi

PM Modi addressed public meetings in West Bengal’s Jaynagar and Uluberia today. Speaking at Jaynagar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I can witness the wave of ‘Ashol Poribortan’ being sped up by this region. In the record-breaking turnout in the first phase, people have given massive support to the BJP. PM Modi also paid tribute to late Shova Majumdar.

“Some weeks ago, people of Bengal were saying that BJP will get more than 200 seats. But BJP's strong start in the first phase makes it clear that the voices of people have received God's blessing. BJP will get more than 200 seats in Bengal. During the second phase of voting today, people are reaching polling booths in large numbers. Everywhere, there is only BJP. There is a BJP wave in Bengal,” said PM Modi while addressing a public rally in Jaynagar.

Taking a dig at Mamata Didi, PM Modi remarked that Mamata Banerjee had run away from Bhawanipore to contest from Nandigram in the ongoing polls. “Didi felt she made a mistake by contesting from Nandigram. The mood of polling says what the whole West Bengal wanted to do, Nandigram is doing it alone. Her frustration has increased after first phase of voting. Yesterday, Didi asked for help with many politicians, to those she never gave time or met, she is asking for support from them now,” said PM Modi.

“Now, I am listening to Didi saying - 'cool, cool'. Didi, Trinamool is not cool, it is a 'shool'. Trinamool is a 'shool' that gave unbearable pain to people of Bengal,” he said.

Lashing out at Mamata Banerjee on insulting the rich culture and tradition of Bengal, PM Modi stated, “Mamata didi has problem with slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram', she also had a problem with immersion of Durga idols, Bengal knows about these. Now didi has problem with 'tilak' and saffron clothes. Didi's people are now calling people with 'chotis' as 'rakshas'.”

“We are not people who're seasonally religious. We are always proud of our religious sentiments. Didi has forgotten the people of Bengal only to support and appease infiltrators. Didi, if you want to appease anyone, you have every right to do so. You want to abuse me, keep abusing me. But I will not let you abuse people's devotion and the identity of Ram Krishna Paramhans, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, and Swami Vivekananda,” he added.

Speaking at a rally in Uluberia, PM Modi remarked, “People of Bengal have decided -- Didi must go. People of Nandigram have fulfilled this dream today. People can't wait any longer to save their future & identity. They are not just participating in polling, they are paving the way for renaissance in Bengal.

Slamming TMC government over misgovernance, the PM asserted, “Identity of TMC government is - Govt of Tolabazi, Govt of Syndicate, Govt of atrocities on women. In such a scenario, the youth is troubled the most. The industry that has prospered in the last 10 years under TMC government are - Extortion industry, Tolabazi industry, Trafficking industry and Mafia industry. Didi has taken away health from the poor and future from the youth.”

“Mamata Banerjee had blocked the benefits to farmers envisioned by the central government through PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi. All arrears due to West Bengal farmers - nearly Rs 18,000 will be cleared immediately if the BJP comes to power,” Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, promised.

PM Modi alleged that sometimes Didi called him a tourist, sometimes an outsider. “Didi, you consider infiltrators as your own but call children of Bharat Mata as outsiders. Didi, stop distinguishing people & insulting the Constitution by labelling people as outsiders,” the PM said.

“Didi, is there any truth in the rumour that you going to file nomination for another constituency? First you went Nandigram and people gave you an answer. If you go somewhere else, people of Bengal are ready,” PM Modi mocked Mamata Banerjee.

Highlighting the condition of Jute farmers, he said, “The Central government is working to provide support to jute farmers and workers. We are continuously trying to make jute bags the alternative of single-use plastic packaging globally.”

He urged the people of Bengal to vote for the BJP to make Sonar Bangla, and said “Jor se Chap, Kamal Chap”.
