The Birds of Banni Grassland: A compilation of the research work, relating to more than 250 species of birds found in Kutch

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released a book titled “The Birds of Banni Grassland” in New Delhi, today. The book was presented to the Prime Minister by the Scientists of Gujarat Institute of Desert Ecology (GUIDE).

The Book is a compilation of the research work, relating to more than 250 species of birds found in the Banni area of Kutch, Gujarat.

The Gujarat Institute of Desert Ecology, located at Bhuj, has been studying the plant, bird and marine life in the Rann of Kutch for over 15 years.

Prime Minister of Croatia meets Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister of Croatia, HE Mr. Andrej Plenković met the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today in New Delhi.

Both leaders discussed how to add momentum to our bilateral partnership in areas such as technology, innovation, shipbuilding, blue economy and boosting connectivity through the IMEEC corridor.

In separate posts on X, Shri Modi said:

“Held fruitful discussions with the Prime Minister of Croatia, Mr. Andrej Plenković. We discussed how to add momentum to our bilateral partnership in areas such as technology, innovation, shipbuilding, blue economy and boosting connectivity through the IMEEC corridor. Also expressed gratitude for his personal support to the India-EU FTA, which will bring unprecedented progress for people in India as well as Europe.

“Održao sam produktivan razgovor s predsjednikom Vlade Republike Hrvatske, g. Andrejem Plenkovićem. Razmotrili smo mogućnosti dodatnog osnaživanja našeg bilateralnog partnerstva, s posebnim naglaskom na produbljivanje suradnje u područjima tehnologije, inovacija, brodogradnje te razvoja plavog gospodarstva, kao i na unapređenje povezanosti kroz koridor IMEEC.
