അപകടത്തില് മരണമടഞ്ഞവരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്ക് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുടെ ദുരിതാശ്വാസ നിധിയില്നിന്ന് 2 ലക്ഷം രൂപ വീതവും ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റവര്ക്ക് 50,000 രൂപയും അനുവദിച്ചു.
'എത്തയിലുണ്ടായ വാഹനാപകടത്തില് പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടവരെ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടവരോടൊപ്പമാണ് എന്റെ ചിന്തകള്. അപകടത്തില് പരിക്കേറ്റവര് എത്രയും പെട്ടെന്ന് സുഖം പ്രാപിക്കട്ടെ', പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
