വിനോദസഞ്ചാര, സാസ്കാരിക, കായിക വകുപ്പുകളുടെ കേന്ദ്ര, സംസ്ഥാന മന്തിമാരുടെയും സെക്രട്ടറിമാരുടെയും ദേശീയ സമ്മേളനം വീഡിയോ കോണ്ഫറന്സിങ് വഴി പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ഗുജറാത്തിലെ കച്ചിലാണു സമ്മേളനം നടക്കുന്നത്.
കായികരംഗത്ത് മികവു സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിനു സുസ്ഥാപിതമായ സംവിധാനത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യകത പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഊന്നിപ്പറഞ്ഞു. കായികമേഖലയ്ക്കു പ്രചാരം നല്കുന്നതില് കേന്ദ്ര, സംസ്ഥാന ഗവണ്മെന്റുകള് താല്പര്യമെടുക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം അഭ്യര്ഥിച്ചു. പ്രതിഭ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നതിനും അടിസ്ഥാനസൗകര്യ വികസനം ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും ഉതകുംവിധം ജില്ലാതലത്തില് ശരിയായ പഠനം അനിവാര്യമാണെന്നു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
വിനോദസഞ്ചാരമേഖലയില് സാധ്യതകള്കൊണ്ട് ഇന്ത്യ അനുഗൃഹീതമാണെന്നും ലോകത്തെ ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് ആകര്ഷിക്കാന് സാധിക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. ഡിജിറ്റല് മേഖലയിലെ മുന്നേറ്റങ്ങള്, സ്വച്ഛ് ഭാരത് തുടങ്ങിയ പദ്ധതികള്ക്ക് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ യുവാക്കള് ഊര്ജം പകരുന്നുണ്ടെന്നു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. ഓരോ സംസ്ഥാനവും ചില കേന്ദ്രങ്ങള് തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് ലോകോത്തര നിലവാരമുള്ള അടിസ്ഥാനസൗകര്യ വികസനം നടത്തുകയും അതുവഴി ലോകശ്രദ്ധ നേടിയെടുക്കുകയും വേണമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം നിര്ദേശിച്ചു. ഏകഭാരതം ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ഭാരതം പദ്ധതി ഫലപ്രദമായി നടത്താന് സംസ്ഥാനാന്തര പദ്ധതികളിലൂടെ ശ്രമിക്കണമെന്ന് സമ്മേളനപ്രതിനിധികളോടു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ആഹ്വാനംചെയ്തു.
ഗുജറാത്ത് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. വിജയ് രൂപാനിയും സ്വതന്ത ചുമതലയുള്ള കേന്ദ്ര സഹമന്ത്രിമാരായ ശ്രീ. വിജയ് ഗോയല് ഡോ. മഹേഷ് ശര്മ എന്നിവരും ചടങ്ങില് സംബന്ധിച്ചു.
