Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur graced the Viksit Bharat Ambassador Meet-up held in Jammu on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Addressing the enthusiastic crowd at IIM Jammu, he emphasized India's potential across various domains, stating, "From sports to space and science to startups, it is India's decade." Minister Thakur also planted trees on the IIM Jammu campus during his visit.

The #VBA2024 meet-up at IIM Jammu was a tremendous success, drawing over 350 attendees. The participants left feeling inspired and eager to champion the role of #ViksitBharatAmbassador.

Prof. B. S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, felicitated Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Hon'ble Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting and Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India, on the eve of Viksit Bharat Ambassador Jammu Meet Up. The Minister also planted trees in IIM Jammu and toured the institute campus.

In his address, Minister Thakur lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration for completing previously delayed projects, commending his proactive approach towards national development.

The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, H.E. Denis Manturov, called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today.

First Deputy PM Manturov briefed PM on the progress in various areas of mutually beneficial cooperation, including trade and economic partnership, fertilizers, connectivity and people-to-people ties.

PM recalled the successful visit of President Putin to India in December 2025 for the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit.

He expressed satisfaction at the sustained efforts being made by both sides towards implementation of the outcomes from the Annual Summit, aimed at further strengthening the India- Russia Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership.

PM extended warm greetings to President Putin and said that he looked forward to their continued exchanges.
