PM Narendra Modi addressed three public rallies in Sitamarhi, Bettiah and Motihari districts of Bihar. He attacked the JD (U)-RJD-Congress alliance and termed it ‘Mahaswarthbandhan.’ He said that the ‘Mahaswarthbandhan’ has lost faith in people and has turned towards ‘Mantra-Tantra.’ “People of Bihar need to decide that they want mantra-tantra or loktantra. We cannot take Bihar back to 18th century instead of progressing ahead”, added PM Modi.

Attacking the ‘Mahaswarthbandhan’, PM Modi said that they ruled Bihar for sixty years but did not contribute to the development of the state. The Prime Minister alleged that the grand alliance’s main aim was extracting political gains rather than thinking about the betterment of the people in the state. PM Narendra Modi held them responsible for misleading the people of Bihar and forcing the youth of the state to leave their families and look for jobs outside. The PM stated that the grand alliance ruined the aspirations of the people of Bihar.

PM attacked JD (U) Chief and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar for his arrogance. The PM pointed out that the JD (U) Chief had joined hands with RJD’s Lalu Yadav and Congress’ Sonia Gandhi and abandoned the principles of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and Lok Nayak Jayprakash Narayan.

PM Modi today lambasted at the Congress party and held them responsible for not letting the Parliament function during the Monsoon Session. Shri Modi said, “Congress keeps putting obstacles in the path of nation’s progress and development. Their leaders are always silent when asked about this.” The Prime Minister also noted that Congress party and its allies were obstructing reservation of women and Sonia Gandhi has been silent on the issue.

PM Modi emphasized on development and said that development would free Bihar from all the problems the state has been facing. PM Modi also shared NDA’s vision for Bihar is to get electricity, water and roads for people, medicine for the elderly, education and job opportunities for the youth. PM Narendra Modi strongly mentioned that NDA was committed and wanted to eradicate corruption from Bihar.

PM Narendra Modi urged the voters in Bihar to turn out in large numbers to cast their votes for a BJP led NDA Government that would take the state to newer heights in the coming years.

PM Modi to visit Republic of Cyprus, Canada and Croatia from 15th to 19th June

​At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will pay an official visit to Cyprus on 15-16 June, 2025. This will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Cyprus in over two decades. While in Nicosia, Prime Minister will hold talks with President Christodoulides and address business leaders in Limassol. The visit will reaffirm the shared commitment of the two countries to deepen bilateral ties and strengthen India’s engagement with the Mediterranean region and the European Union.

In the second leg of his visit, at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Canada, H.E. Mr. Mark Carney, Prime Minister will travel to Kananaskis in Canada on June 16-17 to participate in the G-7 Summit. This would be Prime Minister’s 6th consecutive participation in the G-7 Summit. At the Summit, Prime Minister will exchange views with leaders of G-7 countries, other invited outreach countries and Heads of International Organisations on crucial global issues, including energy security, technology and innovation, particularly the AI-energy nexus and Quantum-related issues. Prime Minister will also hold several bilateral meetings on the side-lines of the Summit.

In the final leg of his tour, at the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Mr. Andrej Plenković, Prime Minister will undertake an official visit to Croatia on 18 June 2025. This will be the first ever visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Croatia, marking an important milestone in the bilateral relationship. Prime Minister will hold bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Plenković and meet the President of Croatia, H.E. Mr. Zoran Milanović. The visit to Croatia will also underscore India's commitment to further strengthening its engagement with partners in the European Union.
