Continuing his outreach to the BJP karyakartas, the Prime Minister today interacted with BJP MPs and MLAs through the ‘Narendra Modi Mobile App.’ Addressing the party karyakartas, the PM appreciated them for their works at the grassroot level. He said that their connect with people directly has ushered in a positive change by ensuring that schemes reach the grassroots as well as concerns of people reach the lawmakers.

He highlighted that it was the BJP which today had maximum number of elected representatives, be it from the tribal communities, SC/ ST or OBC. He urged the representatives for expanding the outreach to people.

On recent Local Self Government results in Jharkhand, PM Modi congratulated the karyakartas for the win and lauded the people for reposing their faith in the politics of development of the BJP.

The Prime Minister also urged the MPs to enhance their social media outreach, stating it would benefit them immensely.

Shri Modi urged the karyakartas to encourage the use of BHIM app and further the movement of cashless transactions.

Mentioning about the civil servants, the PM said that they were working towards ensuring the reach of government initiatives.

He also lauded BJP karyakartas for the Gram Swaraj Abhiyan being held from 14 April to 5th May, the Prime Minister urged the party karyakartas to further the reach of initiatives like Mudra Yojana, Ujjwala and insurance schemes. In this context, he urged the karyakartas to conduct regular Gram Sabhas.

The Prime Minister also answered questions from elected representatives of BJP across the country on various issues including skilling the youth, rural development and farmer welfare. Answering a question on enhancing lives of people in villages the PM stressed on the collective power of people residing in the villages. He also mentioned about Anna Hazare ji’s village, where he had stressed on cleanliness and how that village has now become a model for others to follow.

He also took questions on Ayushman Bharat Yojana and healthcare sector. In this context, he also mentioned about the Jan Aushadhi Kendras which provide medicines at affordable prices.

Prime Minister congratulates Indian cheesemakers on their notable achievement at the Mundial do Queijo do Brasil 2026

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated Indian cheesemakers on their notable achievement at the Mundial do Queijo do Brasil 2026, which is a vibrant international competition for cheese and dairy products. Four Indian products won medals, including 1 Super Gold, 2 Golds and 1 Silver.

"The Super Gold was won by Eleftheria Gulmarg (Brie Style), the Golds were won by Yak Churpi-Soft, Nordic Farm, Leh, Ladakh and Eleftheria Brunost (Whey Cheese) while the Silver was won by Eleftheria Kaali Miri (Belper Knolle Style)", Shri Modi stated.

The Prime Minister commended the efforts of the awardees, including Mausam Narang and Thenlay Nurboo, and stated that such achievements reflect the growing global recognition of India’s artisanal dairy sector.
