પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ ઋષિ બંકિમચંદ્ર ચટ્ટોપાધ્યાયને તેમની જયંતી નિમિત્તે શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ અર્પણ કરી હતી.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ એક ટ્વીટમાં કહ્યું, “ઋષિ બંકિમચંદ્ર ચટ્ટોપાધ્યાયને તેમની જયંતી નિમિત્તે શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ અર્પણ કરૂં છું. તેમણે પોતાના વ્યાપક કાર્યક્ષેત્ર દ્વારા ભારતના સિદ્ધાંતોની મહાનતાને પ્રદર્શિત કરી હતી. #VandeMataram તેમના દ્વારા લખાયું જે આપણને વિનમ્રતા સાથે ભારતની સેવા કરવા અને આપણા સાથી ભારતીયોને સશક્ત બનાવવા આપણને સમર્પિત બનાવવા પ્રેરણા આપતું રહે છે.”
