પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું કે,“પંડિત જસરાજજીના દુર્ભાગ્યપૂર્ણ અવસાનથી ભારતીય સાંસ્કૃતિક ક્ષેત્રમાં એક ઊંડી ખોટ પડી છે. માત્ર તેમની પ્રસ્તુતિઓ જ ઉત્કૃષ્ટ નહોતી, પણ તેમણે બીજા કેટલાક ગાયકોના ઉમદા ગુરુ તરીકે ઓળખ બનાવી હતી. તેમના પરિવાર અને વિશ્વભરના પ્રશંસકો પ્રત્યે સંવેદના. ઓમ શાંતિ.”
