પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે વીડિયો કોન્ફરન્સના માધ્યમથી બહાદુરગઢ-મુંડકા મેટ્રો લાઈનનું ઉદઘાટન કર્યું.
દિલ્હી મેટ્રોના આ નવા વિભાગના શુભારંભ પ્રસંગે હરિયાણા અને દિલ્હીના લોકોને શુભેચ્છા પાઠવતા પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું કે બહાદુરગઢને દિલ્હી મેટ્રો સાથે જોડાતું જોઈને તેમને ખુશી થઇ છે.
ગુરુગ્રામ અને ફરીદાબાદ પછી આ રીતે જોડાનારા હરિયાણાનું આ ત્રીજા નંબરનું સ્થાન છે.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ દિલ્હીમાં મેટ્રોએ કઈ રીતે નાગરિકોના જીવનમાં સકારાત્મક અસર ઉભી કરી છે તે અંગે જણાવ્યું હતું. બહાદુરગઢ એ અભૂતપૂર્વ આર્થિક વૃદ્ધિ કરી રહ્યું છે તે વાત નોંધતા પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું કે ત્યાં ઘણા બધા શૈક્ષણિક કેન્દ્રો છે અને ત્યાના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ દિલ્હીમાં પણ પ્રવાસ કરે છે. મેટ્રોને લીધે તેમનું આ આવાગમન વધુ સરળ બનશે.
શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ જણાવ્યું કે જોડાણ અને વિકાસની વચ્ચે સીધો સેતુ છે. તેમણે કહ્યું કે મેટ્રો એ આ વિસ્તારમાં લોકો માટે વધુ રોજગારની તકોનું સાધન બનશે.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું કે સમગ્ર દેશમાં મેટ્રો રેલ નેટવર્કમાં સમરૂપતા અને નિશ્ચિત ધોરણ લાવવા માટે કેન્દ્ર સરકાર મેટ્રોને લગતી એક નીતિ લાવી છે. તેમણે કહ્યું કે તેનો ઉદ્દેશ્ય આપણા શહેરોમાં સુગમ, આરામદાયક અને પરવડે તેવી શહેરી પરિવહન સુવિધાને વિકસાવવાનો છે.વધુમાં તેમણે કહ્યું કે તેનો ઉદ્દેશ્ય મેટ્રો રેલ કોચનું નિર્માણ ભારતમાં જ કરીને “મેક ઇન ઇન્ડિયા”ને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવાનો પણ છે.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું કે મેટ્રો પ્રણાલિ બનાવવાની પ્રક્રિયા સહયોગાત્મક સંઘવાદ સાથે પણ જોડાયેલ છે. ભારતમાં જ્યાં પણ મેટ્રોનું નિર્માણ થઇ રહ્યું છે, ત્યાં કેન્દ્ર અને સંલગ્ન રાજ્ય સરકારો સાથે મળીને કામ કરી રહી છે.
ન્યુ ઇન્ડિયાને નવા અને સ્માર્ટ ઇન્ફ્રાસ્ટ્રક્ચરની જરૂરિયાત છે તે બાબતને નોંધીને પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું કે કેન્દ્ર સરકાર માર્ગો, રેલવે, ધોરીમાર્ગો, હવાઈ માર્ગો, જળમાર્ગો અને આઈ-વે ઉપર કામ કરી રહી છે. જોડાણ પર અનેવિકાસ કાર્યો સમયસર પુરા થાય તે બાબતની ખાતરી કરવા પર ધ્યાન કેન્દ્રિત કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.
