વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે ચેન્નાઈમાં અમ્મા ટુ વ્હિલર સ્કિમની શરૂઆત કરી હતી. જયલલિતાજી ને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપતા વડાપ્રધાન મોદીએ સ્ત્રી સશક્તિકરણ અંગે વિગતે વાત કરી હતી. એમણે કહ્યું, “જ્યારે પરિવારમાં આપણે સ્ત્રીને સશક્ત કરીએ છીએ ત્યારે આપને સમગ્ર કુટુંબને સશક્ત કરીએ છીએ. જ્યારે આપને સ્ત્રીને શિક્ષણ આપીને મદદ કરીએ છીએ ત્યારે આપણે એ સુનિશ્ચિત કરીએ છીએ કે આપણું પરિવાર સુશિક્ષિત બને. જ્યારે આપણે તેને સારું આરોગ્ય આપીએ છીએ ત્યારે આપણે આપણા પરિવારને સારું આરોગ્ય આપીએ છીએ. જ્યારે આપણે તેનું ભવિષ્ય સુરક્ષિત કરીએ છીએ આપણે આપણા સમગ્ર ઘરના ભવિષ્યને સુરક્ષિત કરીએ છીએ.
તેમણે કેન્દ્રના અસંખ્ય સુધારાઓ અને પહેલ પર પણ પ્રકાશ ફેંક્યો જે મહિલાઓને સશક્ત બનાવે છે અને તેમના જીવનમાં હકારાત્મક બદલાવ લાવે છે.
