প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী আজ চেন্নাইয়ে আম্মা টু হুইলার স্কিমের উদ্বোধন করলেন। জয়ললিতা জির প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী মহিলাদের ক্ষমতায়ন সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত বলেন। তিনি বলেন, "আমরা যখন একজন মহিলাকে ক্ষমতা দিই, তখন গোটা পরিবারের ক্ষমতায়ন হয়। মহিলাদের শিক্ষার ক্ষেত্রে সাহায্য করলে গোটা পরিবারের শিক্ষা সুনিশ্চিত হয়। মহিলাদের ভবিষ্যৎ সুরক্ষিত হলে পরিবারের ভবিষ্যৎও সুরক্ষিত হয়"।
এছাড়া তিনি কেন্দ্রের বিভিন্ন সংস্কার ও উদ্যোগের উপর আলোকপাত করেন যা নারীদের শক্তিশালীকরণ এবং তাঁদের জীবনে ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন আনছে।
