‘জনশক্তি’কথাটির অর্থই হ’ল জনসাধারণের ক্ষমতা। এই ‘জনশক্তি’র কারণেই দরিদ্র পরিবারের একজনসন্তান ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী হয়ে উঠতে পারেন।

মঙ্গলবারলোকসভায় রাষ্ট্রপতির ভাষণের ওপর ধন্যবাদ জ্ঞাপনকালে এই মন্তব্য করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রীশ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। তিনি বলেন, তাঁর মতো অনেক মানুষই রয়েছেন, যাঁদের আত্মোৎসর্গেরসুযোগ ঘটেনি স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামে অংশগ্রহণের মাধ্যমে। কিন্তু স্বাধীন ভারতে যাঁদেরজন্ম, তাঁদের জীবনের লক্ষ্য হওয়া উচিৎ দেশসেবা। ‘জনশক্তি’র ওপর আস্থা ও বিশ্বাসেযে সুফল মেলে সে কথা স্মরণ করিয়ে দিয়ে শ্রী মোদী দেশের জনসাধারণের অন্তর্নিহিতশক্তি বা ক্ষমতাকে উপলব্ধি করার আহ্বান জানান সাংসদদের উদ্দেশে। তাঁর মতে, এইভাবেইভারতকে এক নতুন উচ্চতায় নিয়ে যাওয়া সম্ভব।

বাজেট পেশেরতারিখ এগিয়ে আনার যৌক্তিকতা প্রসঙ্গে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, এর ফলে আর্থিক সম্পদের উন্নততরসদ্ব্যবহার নিশ্চিত করা সম্ভব হবে। এর পাশাপাশি, দেশের পরিবহণ ক্ষেত্রটির দিকেবিশেষ লক্ষ্য ও নজর দেওয়াও আশু প্রয়োজন। এক অভিন্ন বাজেট পেশের মাধ্যমেই যে এইলক্ষ্য পূরণ সম্ভব সেকথা তাঁর বক্তব্যে তুলে ধরেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী।

প্রধানমন্ত্রীহিসেবে তাঁর দায়িত্বভার গ্রহণের পর থেকে কাজকর্মের গতি যে ক্রমশ রূপান্তরমুখী হয়েউঠেছে, সে সম্পর্কে সন্তোষ প্রকাশ করে শ্রী মোদী বলেন, এক সময় আলোচনার বিষয়বস্তুছিল, বিভিন্ন কেলেঙ্কারি কান্ডে কত টাকা নয়-ছয় হয়েছে সে সম্পর্কে। কিন্তু বর্তমানেআলোচনার বিষয় হ’ল, কি পরিমাণ কালো টাকা এ পর্যন্ত উদ্ধার করা গেছে।

প্রধানমন্ত্রীঘোষণা করেন যে, তাঁর এই সংগ্রাম দেশের দরিদ্র মানুষের স্বার্থেই। তাঁদের ন্যায্যঅধিকার প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে এই সংগ্রাম তিনি চালিয়ে যাবেন। কারণ, তাঁর সরকার নির্বাচনেরদৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে সবকিছু বিচার করে না। জাতির স্বার্থ রক্ষার কাজই সরকারের কাছে এক সর্বোচ্চঅগ্রাধিকারের বিষয়।

বিমুদ্রাকরণকেস্বচ্ছ ভারত কর্মসূচির সঙ্গে তুলনা করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, এর লক্ষ্য হ’ল – কালোটাকা ও দুর্নীতি থেকে ভারতকে মুক্ত করা।

বিমুদ্রাকরণেরনিয়মকানুনের ঘন ঘন পরিবর্তনের বিরুদ্ধে সমালোচনার জবাবে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, যাঁরাসরকারের কাজে অহেতুক খুঁত বা দোষত্রুটি খুঁজে বেড়ান তাঁরাই এই সমালোচনার জনক।মহাত্মা গান্ধী জাতীয় গ্রামীণ কর্মসংস্থান নিশ্চিতকরণ কর্মসূচির নিয়মনীতিগুলিও তোহাজারবার পরিবর্তন করা হয়েছে।

কৃষকদেরকল্যাণেই যে শস্য বিমা কর্মসূচির মতো পদক্ষেপগুলি গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে, সেকথাওপ্রধানমন্ত্রী উল্লেখ করেন তাঁর এদিনের ভাষণে।

দেশের সশস্ত্রবাহিনীর কাজকর্মের ভুয়সী প্রশংসা করে শ্রী মোদী বলেন, জাতির প্রতিরক্ষায় তারাসবদিক থেকেই দক্ষ ও তৎপর।

সংসদের বিতর্কও আলোচনায় উৎসাহ প্রকাশ ও অংশগ্রহণের জন্য সাংসদদেরও ধন্যবাদ দেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী।

Prime Minister pays tributes to former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar on his birth anniversary

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has paid tributes to former Prime Minister, Shri Chandra Shekhar on his birth anniversary.

The Prime Minister noted that this year marks the beginning of Chandra Shekhar Ji’s 100th birth anniversary and said it is an occasion to reiterate the commitment to realising his vision for a prosperous and just India.

Recalling his legacy, the Prime Minister said that Chandra Shekhar Ji is remembered as a mass leader blessed with courage, conviction and a deep commitment to democratic values. He highlighted that firmly rooted in the soil of India and sensitive to the aspirations of ordinary citizens, Chandra Shekhar Ji brought simplicity and clarity to public life.

The Prime Minister also recalled the instances when he had the opportunity to meet Chandra Shekhar Ji and exchange perspectives for the development of the nation.

The Prime Minister called upon the youth of India to read more about the thoughts and efforts of Chandra Shekhar Ji towards India’s progress.

In a X post, Shri Modi said;
