Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released full volumes of works of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya in New Delhi. Addressing an event and recalling Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the Prime Minister said that first thing we remember about Deendayal ji was his simplicity.

“In a short span of time, one party completed the journey from 'Vipaksh' to 'Vikalp' and this was due to foundations laid by Deendayal Ji. Organisation based political parties, this is a contribution of Deendayal Ji. This was the identity of the Jan Sangh and the BJP”, the PM remarked.

Shri Narendra Modi said that Dr. Lohia too recognised the efforts of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya that resulted in the people getting an alternative to the Congress in 1967. He added further that Deendayal Ji gave impetus to 'Karyakarta Nirman’ and the Karyakarta inspired by him are party centric and the party is nation centric. The PM said that at the core of Pandit Deendayal Ji's thoughts were the poor, the villages, the farmers, the Dalits, the marginalised.

Shri Bhaiyyaji Joshi, BJP President Shri Amit Shah, several contributors for the volumes of works unveiled, party leaders and ministers were present at the occasion.

Prime Minister Congratulates Shri S. Suresh Kumar Ji on Inspiring Cycling Feat

āThe Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today lauded the remarkable achievement of Shri S. Suresh Kumar Ji, who successfully cycled from Bengaluru to Kanniyakumari.

Shri Modi noted that this feat is not only commendable and inspiring but also a testament to Shri Suresh Kumar Ji’s grit and unyielding spirit, especially as it was accomplished after overcoming significant health setbacks.

PM emphasized that such endeavors carry an important message of fitness and determination for society at large.

The Prime Minister personally spoke to Shri Suresh Kumar Ji and congratulated him for his effort, appreciating the courage and perseverance that made this journey possible.
