Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today reaffirmed the Government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring affordable and accessible healthcare for every citizen. Building on transformative initiatives such as Jan Aushadhi Kendras and Ayushman Bharat, the Government has now taken a significant step forward under the #NextGenGST reforms.

Responding to a post by Dr Sumeet Shah on X, Shri Modi said:

“Affordable healthcare for every Indian has always been our mission.

From Jan Aushadhi Kendras to Ayushman Bharat, and now with reduced GST on essential health products, including zero tax on 33 life-saving medicines, we continue our journey to make quality healthcare more accessible and affordable for all.

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the importance of grasping the essence of knowledge

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today shared a profound Sanskrit Subhashitam that underscores the timeless wisdom of focusing on the essence amid vast knowledge and limited time.

The sanskrit verse-
अनन्तशास्त्रं बहुलाश्च विद्याः अल्पश्च कालो बहुविघ्नता च।
यत्सारभूतं तदुपासनीयं हंसो यथा क्षीरमिवाम्बुमध्यात्॥

conveys that while there are innumerable scriptures and diverse branches of knowledge for attaining wisdom, human life is constrained by limited time and numerous obstacles. Therefore, one should emulate the swan, which is believed to separate milk from water, by discerning and grasping only the essence- the ultimate truth.

Shri Modi posted on X;

“अनन्तशास्त्रं बहुलाश्च विद्याः अल्पश्च कालो बहुविघ्नता च।

यत्सारभूतं तदुपासनीयं हंसो यथा क्षीरमिवाम्बुमध्यात्॥”
