নয়াদিল্লির প্রগতি ময়দানে সোমবার ‘ভারতকে ঐক্যবদ্ধ করার কাজে : সর্দার প্যাটেল’ শীর্ষক এক ডিজিটাল প্রদর্শনীর সূচনা করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রীশ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। বৈচিত্র্যের মধ্যে ঐক্য – এই আবেগ ও মানসিকতা গড়ে তোলারলক্ষ্যে ‘এক ভারত, শ্রেষ্ঠ ভারত’ কর্মসূচিরও এদিন সূচনা করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী।ভারতের বিভিন্ন রাজ্যের সাধারণ মানুষ যাতে একে অপরের সম্পর্কে জানতে পারেন, সেইউদ্দেশ্যেই সূচনা এই বিশেষ কর্মসূচিটির। এই উপলক্ষে এদিন দুটি রাজ্যের মধ্যে ৬টিমউ-ও স্বাক্ষরিত হয়।
অনুষ্ঠানে প্রদত্ত তাঁর ভাষণে সর্দার প্যাটেলের উদ্দেশে গভীর শ্রদ্ধানিবেদন করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী । তিনি বলেন, জাতির প্রতি সর্দার প্যাটেলের অবদান অসামান্য। তাই, তাঁর মতো একমহান ব্যক্তিত্বকে কখনই বিস্মৃত হওয়া উচিৎ নয়।
জাতির ঐক্য ও সংহতির লক্ষ্যে সর্দার প্যাটেলের বিশেষ ভূমিকা প্রধানমন্ত্রীতুলে ধরেন তাঁর বক্তব্যে। ব্যক্তিগত প্রচেষ্টায় রাজন্য-শাসিত বিভিন্ন প্রদেশকিভাবে মিশে গিয়ে এক অভিন্ন ভারত গড়ে তোলে সেকথাও বিবৃত করেন তিনি।

প্রসঙ্গত, ‘এক ভারত, শ্রেষ্ঠ ভারত’ কর্মসূচি কিভাবে দেশের বিভিন্ন রাজ্যেজনসাধারণের মধ্যে আত্মিক বন্ধন গড়ে তুলতে পারে, তারও কয়েকটি দৃষ্টান্ত এদিন তুলেধরেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী।
