પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે નવી દિલ્હીમાં પ્રગતિ મેદાનમાં “યુનાઇટિંગ ઇન્ડિયાઃ સરદાર પટેલ” ડિજિટલ પ્રદર્શનનું ઉદ્ઘાટન કર્યું હતું.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ વિવિધ રાજ્યોના લોકોને એકબીજા વચ્ચે વધારે જાગૃતિ લાવવા “એક ભારત, શ્રેષ્ઠ ભારત” પહેલનો પણ શુભારંભ કરાવ્યો હતો, જેથી વિવિધતામાં એકતાના જુસ્સાને પ્રોત્સાહન મળે. આ પહેલ અંતર્ગત બે રાજ્યો વચ્ચે 6 સમજૂતીકરારો (એમઓયુ) પણ થયા હતા.
આ પ્રસંગે પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ સરદાર પટેલને દેશના મહાન સમર્પણ બદલ શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપી હતી અને આ પ્રકારની મહાન વ્યક્તિઓને ક્યારેય ભૂલી ન શકાય.

આ પ્રસંગે શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ રાજારજવાડાઓને એકતાંતણે બાંધી દેશની એકતા-અખંડિતતામાં સરદાર પટેલની ભૂમિકા પર વિસ્તૃતપણે ચર્ચા કરી હતી.

પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ “એક ભારત શ્રેષ્ઠ ભારત” પહેલ ભારતના વિવિધ રાજ્યો વચ્ચે કેવી રીતે જોડાણ વધારી શકે તેના પર તેમણે કેટલાક ઉદાહરણો આપીને સમજાવ્યું હતું.
