وزیراعظم کی پاپوا نیو گنی کے وزیراعظم سے ملاقات

وزیر اعظم جناب نریندر مودی نے 22 مئی 2023 کو پورٹ مورسبی میں، فورم فار انڈیا پیسیفک آئی لینڈز کوآپریشن (ایف آئی پی آئی سی) کے تیسرے سربراہی اجلاس کے موقع پر پاپوا نیو گنی (پی این جی) کے وزیر اعظم عزت مآب جناب جیمز ماراپے کے ساتھ دو طرفہ میٹنگ کی۔

وزیر اعظم مودی نے گرمجوشی سے استقبال کرنے اور تیسری ایف آئی پی آئی سی چوٹی کانفرنس کی مشترکہ میزبانی کے لیے وزیر اعظم ماراپے کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ دونوں رہنماؤں نے اپنے دو طرفہ تعلقات کا جائزہ لیا اور تجارت اور سرمایہ کاری، صحت، صلاحیت سازی اور مہارت کی ترقی اور انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی سمیت مختلف شعبوں میں اپنی شراکت داری کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کے طریقوں اور ذرائع پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ انہوں نے آب و ہوا کی تبدیلی کے حوالے سےکئے جانے والے اقدامات کے متعلق امور اور لوگوں کے درمیان تعلقات کو فروغ دینے پر بھی تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ وزیر اعظم نے بحرالکاہل کے جزیرے کے ممالک کی ترجیحات اور خواہشات کے لیے ہندوستان کی حمایت اور احترام کا اعادہ کیا۔

وزیر اعظم ہند اور وزیر اعظم ماراپے نے پی این جی کی ٹوک پسن زبان میں تامل کلاسک ’تھروکورل‘   کا ترجمہ شروع کیا۔ ترجمہ شدہ کتاب ماہر لسانیات محترمہ سبھا سسیندرن اور پاپوا نیو گنی کے مغربی نیو برطانیہ صوبے کے گورنر جناب سسیندرن متھویل کی مشترکہ تصنیف ہے۔ کتاب میں وزیر اعظم ماراپے کا پیش لفظ ہے۔

وزیر اعظم مودی نے مصنفین کو مبارکباد دی اور پاپوا نیو گنی میں ہندوستانی فکر اور ثقافت کے اصولوں کو محفوظ رکھنے میں ان کے تعاون پر ان کی تعریف کی۔

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi received a telephone call today from the Amir of the State of Qatar, H.H. Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani.

Qatar Amir expressed condolences over the loss of lives of Indian nationals in an accident at Ras Laffan Industrial City in Qatar on June 21 and conveyed wishes for speedy recovery of those injured.

PM thanked him for his words of sympathy towards affected families and conveyed appreciation for providing prompt medical help to the injured.

The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to ensure the wellbeing and safety of their citizens and reiterated their support and solidarity with each other.

While discussing the situation in West Asia, PM conveyed appreciation for Qatar’s positive contribution in the peace efforts and expressed hope that they would lead to lasting peace and stability in the region.

The two leaders also reaffirmed their commitment to expand bilateral cooperation in all areas.

They agreed to remain in close touch.
