وزیر اعظم 25 نومبر کو لاچت بار پھوکن کے 400ویں یوم پیدائش سے متعلق سال بھر چلنے والی تقریبات کے اختتامی پروگرام سے خطاب کریں گے

لاچت بار پھوکن اہوم سلطنت کی روئل آرمی کے جنرل تھے ،جنہوں نے 1671 میں سرائے گھاٹ کی جنگ میں مغلوں کو زبردست شکست سے دوچار کیا تھا

وزیر اعظم 25 نومبر کو گیارہ بجے صبح ،وگیان بھون نئی دہلی میں  لچت بار پھوکن  کے 400ویں  یوم پیدائش سے متعلق سال بھر چلنے والی تقریبات کی اختتامی تقریب سے خطاب کریں گے  ۔

وزیر اعظم کا ہمیشہ یہ طریقہ رہا ہے کہ وہ مناسب ترین انداز میں گمنام سرماؤں کی عزت افزائی کرتے رہتے  ہیں ۔اسی سلسلے کو آگے بڑھاتے ہوئے ، ملک میں  سال 2022 کو لاچت بار پھوکن کی 24ویں یوم پیدائش والے سال کے طور پر منایا جارہا ہے ۔ان تقریبات کا آغاز اس سال فروری میں اس وقت کے  عزت مآب صدر جمہوریہ ہند   جناب رام ناتھ کووند کے ذریعہ گوہاٹی میں  کیا گیا تھا۔

لاچت پھوکن( 24 نومبر 1622 تا25 اپریل1672)  آسام کی اہوم  حکومت کی شاہی فوج کے مشہور جنرل تھے ۔انہوں نے مغلوں کو شکست دی تھی اور اورنگ زیب کے تحت جاری رہنے والی مغلوں کی توسیع پسندانہ کارروائیوں  کو کامیابی کے ساتھ روک دیا تھا ۔لاچت بار پھوکن نے سرائے گھاٹ کی جنگ میں، جو 1671 میں لڑی گئی تھی، آسامی سپاہیوں کے جذبات کو ابھارا اور مغلوں کو ایک زبردست اور شرمناک شکست سے دوچار کیا۔لاچت بار پھوکن اور ان کی فوج کی طرف سے کی گئی دلیرانہ جنگ ہمارے ملک کی تاریخ میں مذاحمت کی سب سے زیادہ تحریک دینے والے فوجی  کارناموں میں سے ہے۔

Prime Minister lauds designation of Jai Prakash Narayan Bird Sanctuary as India's 100th Ramsar site

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today expressed great happiness over India achieving a century of Ramsar sites, following the designation of the Jai Prakash Narayan Bird Sanctuary (Surha Tal) in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, as the nation's 100th Ramsar site.

The Prime Minister noted that this wetland is exceptionally rich in avifaunal biodiversity, attracting numerous migratory and resident birds.
Shri Modi emphasized that this remarkable milestone clearly reflects India’s unwavering commitment to protecting its natural surroundings, particularly its vital wetlands.

The Prime Minister observed that over the years, efforts to conserve and rejuvenate wetlands have been significantly strengthened through greater community participation, science, innovation, and active awareness initiatives. He affirmed that these collective endeavours are instrumental in preserving biodiversity, securing ecological balance, and creating a greener future for coming generations.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

Glad that the Jai Prakash Narayan Bird Sanctuary (Surha Tal) in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh has been designated as India’s 100th Ramsar site. This wetland is rich in avifaunal biodiversity, attracting several migratory and resident birds.

India’s unwavering commitment to protecting our natural surroundings and wetlands in particular is clearly reflected in this feat.

Over the years, efforts to conserve and rejuvenate wetlands have been strengthened through greater community participation, science, innovation and awareness initiatives. These endeavours are helping preserve biodiversity, secure ecological balance and create a greener future for coming generations."
