On the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Tianjin, China, PM Modi held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, where the Ukraine conflict was a central point of discussion. PM Modi welcomed the recent efforts towards peace and expressed hope that all sides will move forward constructively. He emphasised the urgent need to end the conflict at the earliest and underlined that finding a path to lasting peace is essential. Stressing the larger human dimension, PM Modi said that this is not just a regional concern but the call of humanity itself.
