وزیراعظم کی چلی کے صدر سے ملاقات

وزیر اعظم جناب نریندر مودی نے 19 نومبر کو جمہوریہ چلی کے صدرعزت مآب جناب گیبریل بورک فونٹ سےبرازیل کے ریو ڈی جنیرو میں جی 20 سربراہی اجلاس کے موقع پرملاقات کی۔ یہ ان کی پہلی ملاقات تھی۔

دونوں رہنماؤں نے دو طرفہ تعلقات پر تبادلہ خیال کیا اور تعاون کو مضبوط بنانے کے لیے متعدد اقدامات کی نشاندہی کی۔ وزیر اعظم نے ڈیجیٹل پبلک انفراسٹرکچر، صحت کی دیکھ بھال، آئی ٹی، سائنس اور ٹیکنالوجی، خلا، قابل تجدید توانائی اور دفاع میں بھارت کی صلاحیتوں پر روشنی ڈالی اور ان شعبوں میں چلی کے ساتھ اپنے تجربات کا اشتراک کرنے کے لیے بھارت کی آمادگی کا اظہار کیا۔

 

دونوں فریقوں نے معدنیات کے اہم شعبے میں تعاون بڑھانے اور باہمی فائدے کے لیے مل کر کام کرنے پر اتفاق کیا۔ دونوں رہنماؤں نےبھارت چلی ترجیحی تجارتی معاہدے پی ٹی اےکی توسیع کے بعد تجارتی تعلقات میں مسلسل ترقی پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا اور پی ٹی اے کو مزید وسعت دینے کے مواقع تلاش کرنے پر اتفاق کیا۔ وزیر اعظم نے چلی کی صنعت کی حمایت کرنے کے لیے اعلیٰ معیار اور سستی فارماسیوٹیکل مصنوعات، انجینئرنگ کے سامان، آٹوموبائل اور کیمیکل کی فراہمی میں بھارت کی مسلسل دلچسپی سے بھی آگاہ کیا۔

رہنماؤں نے تعلیم، ثقافت اور روایتی علم کے شعبوں میں تعاون کے امکانات پر بھی تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ انہوں نے قریبی رابطے میں رہنے اور موجودہ دوطرفہ تعاون کو مزید مضبوط بنانے پر اتفاق کیا۔

PM recalls the Father Amir’s visionary leadership and his contribution to strengthening India-Qatar relations
The two leaders reaffirm their resolve to carry forward the Father Amir’s legacy

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation today with the Amir of the State of Qatar, H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Prime Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences on the passing of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Father Amir of Qatar.

Recalling the Father Amir’s significant contributions as the chief architect of modern Qatar, Prime Minister paid tribute to his visionary leadership, and recalled his pivotal role in strengthening India-Qatar relations over the years as well as his deep affection for India and the Indian community in Qatar.

The Amir of Qatar thanked Prime Minister for his call and conveyed his appreciation for the words of support in this difficult hour.

The two leaders reaffirmed their resolve to carry forward the Father Amir’s legacy and further strengthen the India-Qatar Strategic Partnership and people-to-people ties.

They agreed to remain in close touch.
