The NDA government in Bihar have been continuously striving to serve the people of Bihar and make their lives easier: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed his third major rally for the day in Valmiki Nagar in Bihar. He said, “The land of Bihar and its people have always been known for their bravery and for standing up to injustice. Similarly, it is extremely satisfying that Bihar’s Champaran is leading the way in making ‘Swachhta Abhiyan’ a mass movement in the country.”

PM Modi severely criticised the Opposition parties and their allies in Bihar for failing to live up to their promises made to people and instead promoting division and nepotism in society. He added, “Be it Congress or be it RJD, opportunistic parties like these have only relied on benefiting their own people by promoting nepotism and corruption in their governance. However, after four phases of voting in the Lok Sabha elections, it has become clear that the people of Bihar are standing strongly in support of the NDA and have decided to not befooled by the false promises and divisive politics of the Mahamilawati parties. Rather than promoting social equality in Bihar, these parties have faciliated casteism, religious division and have spread lies about reservation for decades. They resort to such tactics because they neither have an ideology nor a vision to lead the country into growth in the future.”

Contrasting the UPA’s poor track record at governance with that of NDA’s since 2014, PM Modi asserted that the NDA government in Bihar have been continuously striving to serve the people of Bihar and make their lives easier. He added that the government of Bihar has been emphasising on strengthening electricity infrastructure in the state to ensure that every household in the state gets electrified by as soon as possible. Lastly, PM Modi also spoke at length about the changing policies of the ‘New India’ specially with regards to national security and said that the NDA had ensured greater security for all Indians due to its zero tolerance policy against terrorists and their sympathisers.
