PM Modi greets BSF personnel on their Raising Day

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has greeted all the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on their Raising Day.

“Greetings to all @BSF_India personnel on their Raising Day. BSF has an exemplary legacy of courage and vital role in keeping our borders safe”, the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising that knowledge can be gained only through devoted service to the Guru.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

"यथा खात्वा खनित्रेण भूतले वारि विन्दति।

तथा गुरुगतां विद्यां शुश्रूषुरधिगच्छति॥"

The Subhashitam conveys, that just as one must dig deep into the earth with hard work and patience to obtain water, in the same way, knowledge can be gained only through devoted service to the Guru, with faith, dedication, discipline, and sincerity.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"यथा खात्वा खनित्रेण भूतले वारि विन्दति।

तथा गुरुगतां विद्यां शुश्रूषुरधिगच्छति॥"
