2017 ஆம் ஆண்டை உறூதி மொழி ஆண்டாக கொண்டாடி, நாட்டிற்கு ஆக்கபூர்வமான வகையில் செயலாற வேண்டும் என பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி இந்தியர்களை கேட்டுக் கொண்டுள்ளார். நாட்டில் இருந்து அசுத்தம், ஏழ்மை, பயங்கரவாதம், இனவாதம் மற்றும் வகுப்புவாதத்தை வெளியேற்ற வேண்டும் என அவர் கூறினார். சுதந்திர போராட்டத்தில் ஒவ்வொருவரும் பங்கேற்றதால் வெள்ளையே வெளியேறு இயக்கம் வெற்றி பெற்றது. அதே போன்று தூய்மை இந்தியாவின் வெற்றி 125 கோடி இந்தியர்களின் பங்களிப்பில் உள்ளது என அவர் கூறினார்.
பயங்கரவாதத்திற்கு இந்தியா ஒரு போதும் அடிபணியாது என பிரதமர் உறுதிபடக் கூறினார். பருவநிலையை காப்பது என்பது நாம் நம்பிக்கை வைத்துள்ள ஒரு விஷயம் என அவர் கூறினார். ஆகஸ்ட் 9ம் தேதியில் இருந்து அடுத்த ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளில் அனைத்து உறுதி மொழிகளையும் சாதனையாக்கும் பெரிய பிரச்சாரம் ஒன்றை தொடக்க பிரதமர் அழைப்பு விடுத்துள்ளார்.
