தேசிய வாக்காளர் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு பிரதமர் திரு. நரேந்திர மோடி மக்களுக்கு வாழ்த்துத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
“தேசிய வாக்காளர் தின வாழ்த்துக்கள். இந்த நாளில் நமது ஜனநாயகத்தை வலுப்படுத்துவதற்கு நாம் மீண்டும் உறுதி ஏற்போம் என்றும் தேசிய, மாநில உள்ளூர் நிலைகளில் ஜனநாயக நடைமுறையில் தவறாது பங்கேற்று இதனை உறுதி செய்வோம். புதிய இந்தியாவை உருவாக்குவதில் இது மிகவும் உதவியாக இருக்கும்.
வாக்காளர் பதிவு விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துமாறு குறிப்பாக இளைஞர்களிடையே தங்களை வாக்காளர்களாக பதிவு செய்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டுமென்ற விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துமாறு அனைத்து தரப்பு மக்களையும் நான் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன். பதிவான ஒவ்வொரு வாக்கும் நமது ஜனநாயக கட்டமைப்பை வலுப்படுத்தும்” என்று பிரதமர் தமது செய்தியில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
