The Minister for Mines, Steel, Labour and Employment, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, today handed over cheques worth Rs. 15 crore for the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund, to the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. This amount has been donated by Public Sector Undertakings from the Steel and Mining sectors.
The Minister for State for Mines, Steel, Labour and Employment, Shri Vishnudeo Sai, and senior officials were also present on the occasion.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today, paid tributes to the great revolutionary Mangal Pandey ji on his birth anniversary. Shri Modi remarked that his courageous life continues to fill every Indian with pride even today, and his saga of valor will keep inspiring every generation of the nation.
