The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has remembered the pathbreaking contribution of Sir M. Visvesvaraya on Engineers Day.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;

"On #EngineersDay, we remember the pathbreaking contribution of Sir M. Visvesvaraya. May he keep inspiring generations of future engineers to distinguish themselves. I am also sharing a snippet from one of the previous #MannKiBaat programmes where I talked about this subject."

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi said that wealth follows truthfulness, fame follows selfless service, knowledge follows constant practice and wisdom follows action. He noted that these values play a vital role in shaping individual character and contributing to collective progress.

“सत्यानुसारिणी लक्ष्मीः कीर्तिस्त्यागानुसारिणी।

अभ्याससारिणी विद्या बुद्धिः कर्मानुसारिणी।।”
